As the Rock Raiders continued their expanse they started finding, stealing, and then revamping UEF designs. One of their hauls was a sub orbital platform. Given their ingenuity they were able to drop off a haul of T1 ore and have it automatically processed into Nitron and Kergon X5 at the same time. The only maintenance to this system is the occasional purge of oxygen and hydrogen once in a while while there to fuel up Rock Raider ships. THE MONOLITH During ground works for our base, we have unearthened a strange artifact of possible alien orign. None of our instruments was able to penetrate this object or to get any data. You can see it first-hand, when VRing to "Tropico". We decided, to make this artifact available to you all, in hope that your technologies can retrieve the deep secrets it bears within. INSTRUCTIONS The dispenseris on location, as part of the excavation site. There are two blueprints - one for the monolith (MON) and one for the excavation site (SIT). At your own location, find an area that is as flat as possible. If there are small elevations, the center of SIT should be at the lowest area. Sink it into the ground, but make sure that somewhere a little bit of the upper wall remains above ground. Look how it is done at our location. After it has been placed, use your digging tool (2) to create a small tunnel downwards, along a wall. Each wall contains 5 sections, one above each other. Stop the tunnel when you have reached the lowest of those 5 sections. Now use tool 5 to create a flat floor inside the four walls. Then remove the soil that is still above your head inside the walls, avoid removing soil outside the walls. Use now the Smooth Voxel tool along the walls to raise the floor unevenly along the wals, especially at the four corners. Do some landscaping to make the floor a bit uneven. Important: you must not see any of the steel honeycombs. Do not yet create the small "hill" in the center. Now place the MON slightly above the floor. Now create the small "hill" below it to hide the core. Finally, do some additional work on the surrounding area, to make it looking perfect. When you're done, post "My god, it's full of stars" in the general ingame chat! :-D HURRY, THERE ARE ONLY 10 BLUEPRINTS!

The Terrans are at it again. With the Terran Offworld mining OP, (OmO), you will get a plattform with a custom LUA script. Were you will know how mutch money your tiles cost you a week/12 weeks by adding the quanta they cost. So that means that you have controll on the tile cost out in the cosmos. There are room for 7 L MU´s AND a small manufactering capability, like fuels och convert the ore directly to pures and so on. And the best part is that there are 8 L containers for the ore your gathering, and 1 L container for fuel storage and 2 L containers for other storage. With this large amount of L containers you will not need to travel that often to empty out the ore.

my little entry for the NQ Build Your Legacy contest, only started last week so not to long on the build but im happy how it turned out which is pretty hard putting detail together with the rules of no more than 700 meters of honeycomb, comes with lobby, office, living room, bedroom, bathroom and storage area for ship parts, ive always built large core buildings but ive enjoyed playing around constructing a building this size with compact rooms that have a true feeling of space for the size of our avatars, i will look forward to doing more on release :)

This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.

This factory is set to produce all components for tiers one to four. All parts with multiple outputs are designed to cycle contents. If you need more links, simply add a new box and transfer unit, remove the link from the topmost box to the bottom transfer unit, pointing to your new transfer unit, whose output goes to your new box, and link the new box to the bottom transfer unit. If you find it isn't producing as many parts as you need, simply add a new machine on top of it and have the output go to the next box. All industries are named with what they produce, as are the output boxes, so you can easily identify where things link. Color coded borders surround industries with what Tier.
