Elite Dangerous Python is now in Dual Universe. Dot Python is your mission/hauler ship capable of defending itself in PVP when the time is right. Ship was tested to leave Alioth with over 2kt of cargo weight and can do more with engine and talents upgrades. The Anisoptera v4 X1 (internal code name: "Casiopeia") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat and completes the evolution towards a fully space-capable boat. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. The version 4 has the following improvements over V3: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now towards 30,000 km/h in space) - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! Imperial Asteroid Miner RAAM - - - Officially declared as native imperial design, in dirty taverns and other dark corners of the outer worlds of the Empire it is said that in reality the RAAM is in reality the product of a very questionable co-operation between the engineers of the Empire and some strong forces among the galactic scum, or to be exact, with a certain Bobba Fett - an infamous bounty hunter and contract killer. That would explain some of the details of the ship's design. Her two L-size containers can load plenty of space fuel for the asteroid tracking, and she also has two L-size space fuel tanks. Once an asteroid has been found in safe space, those two containers allow for a long, effective mining. From the space station where she unloaded her cargo, she can also venture into the atmosphere of planets up to 1G. Her inertia is surprisingly well balanced. She features a small compartment at her back from where the hardy space miners can start the tunnel digging. There is an own room for the captain, one for the first officer, and there are seating possibilities for up to 6 more miners. Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Engine positions for changing out the atmo engines. top left. x -9.0 y -51.0 z 2.5. top right x 9.0, y -51.0 z. 2.5. then the bottom ones directly below Brakes: The M airbrakes in the front grill can be increased in number by re-laying them without any spaces. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. There are three versions available - one ultralight (700t Dry) with 538kL Storage, a steel/iron/aluminum, which is the one shown here, and a version with an XL space engine and two more ATMO engines in addition to the 6L Space. The Scissorswift Courier is a light personal transport made for speed and aesthetics. Built around a medium rocket, it can bust out some serious acceleration and speed for as long as your xeron lasts. It can carry a little bit of cargo if you need to pick up a few things from market(33kL). The 'Scout' version is a space-only patrol ship with 18-22g accel (space thrust - no rocket) and 48,000kmh max speed. With only a XS shield, a couple of S cannons, and a S stasis weapon, it's not going to be winning any fights. COMPACT - CAPABLE - EFFICIENT DRM FREE Loaded with Albatross HUD Basic light duty spaceplane, Great for bootstrapping up through ailerons missions or taking care of market runs, orbital hops and jaunts between planets for errands that don't require you to break out the heavy iron. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out.
