The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably transport your assets from the planet surface to a space station without having to rely on an annoying AGG tower with an hour-long ascend or fiddly autopilot ships. Belovator Octo: The Octo is our first attempt to break with the rule that an Elevator has to be a shoebox hidden away in a hole underground. It´s octagon shape is a refreshing alternative to the usual square. The carbon fiber materials used for the hull together with the custom landing pad (DRM-free, included in the purchase) make it a nice eyecatcher on your premises. It also features a custom forcefield configuration that has forcefields as ramps when it´s standing on the base pad and the regular flat bridges when it´s docked at the upper floors. - 1000 tonnes of cargo lift from the surface of Alioth without any piloting skills/talents - 4x Basic Container M - Advanced Maneuver, Freight and Military Engines - custom forcefield configuration - comes with static DRM-free S-core landing pad also suitable for S-core ships Stats are for unskilled pilots, cargo lift depends heavily on pilot skills. The lifting capability improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl 2+ talents on atmo engines. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. Control of the elevator via touchscreen and/or HUD with very few buttons. ATTENTION: The game mechanics unfortunately do not allow for an octagonal shaft / dock in your spacestation, because it creates a rectangular hitbox around dynamic constructs. So the shaft / dock still has to be square. Fortunately the completely symmetrical octagon-shape of the Octo still makes for a pleasant appearance in a square dock.
