Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Engine positions for changing out the atmo engines. top left. x -9.0 y -51.0 z 2.5. top right x 9.0, y -51.0 z. 2.5. then the bottom ones directly below Brakes: The M airbrakes in the front grill can be increased in number by re-laying them without any spaces. This will increase braking power but I preferred the grill type look. Fuel: There are 2 atmo M fuel tanks and 4 space M fuel tanks, one tank for each space engine. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. But just because the S12 is a starter doesn't mean it's slow or lacking in power and endurance! Basic engines push the Spincat to 1500km/h(after placement buffs and talents), and the ship has been built with easy-engine-swap voxel mounts making replacement with higher tier engines doable in under a minute! A Medium space fuel tank provides nearly 600,000km/h of delta V, easily taking this ship on several asteroid or interplanetary trips before refueling becomes necessary! It is fitted with full 3D maneuvering thrusters for operating from space platforms or low/zero G environs. The Spincat is also ready for external cargo loads! Due to using an S core, the Spincat can easily piggyback additional cargo, or xs core ships <500 tons. Armed with a single xs cannon, S12 Scouts can also serve as training platforms for new pilots to learn the fundamentals of gunnery. If that wasn't enough, the S12 features a robust heat protection system, allowing the ship to cruise around Alioth at 4000-8000km/h in upper atmosphere, and withstand reentries at 6000+km/h with minimal or no damage, making it far and away one of the speediest starters on the market.

It handles well, flies true, stops on a dime, and carries a crazy amount. Easily carries 1.5Kt off of Alioth and I almost got 2Kt with the 10 Maneuver Atmo engines and 4 Maneuver Space Engines. Reentry with 2.5Kt is a breeze with plenty of braking power. Plenty of interior space and access to almost all of the elements from inside. Cargo is 4 Container L's with 716Kl of storage. Shiny, reliable, efficient.....it's still my favorite ship to use! Warp capable and only 30cells Alioth to Madis with empty cargo. Helios Z is upgraded version of Helios-X. It now has XL space engine + 6x small space engines and 6x L atmo engines, so it can easily carry lot of weight into space! 1.5kt seemed easy enough, so it should do more I kept the original cool looks as much as i could, but it has much more of everything! more containers, more brakes, more wings, more adjustors! only thing it doesn't have more, is interior space, because XL engine pretty much took it all. there's enough room to squish warp drive on it aswell, but it wouldn't be pretty. It's a ship of size L that faithfully reproduces the dimensions of the original ship but obviously some parts have been adapted to make it viable for Dual universe. Thanks to its design it obtains a cruising speed in atmosphere of more than 1600 km per hour, this speed is possible thanks to its 18 atypical military atmospheric engines which allow to push the ship with a load of 10KT outside Haven without the help of the antigravity. To take over in space, the ship is equipped with 4 atypical maneuvering XL space engines and if you want to carry more load from a planet at 1g you will be able to rely on the agg elevator integrated in the antigravity.
