And don't worry about getting up to speed, because with an XL and 2 Large space engines, you're going to be hitting that max lickity-split! Unburdened by the useless mass of atmo elements, it has a solid ~7g of space thrust and a max speed of about 39,000kmh, which lets it race to asteroids quickly to beat the competition. It comes with only two M containers inside, but there are eight racks on the exterior to attach extra containers - giving it a storage volume of up to 1.7ML. These racks are also a good place to attach other elements, such as a shield. The DSAT is built into the BP, but it's easy to remove and reinsert at will with an indicator for precise placement. There's also a slot for a warp drive at the tail of the ship, but it's optional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • The Beltalowda comes with a DRM-free BP of a XS space station so that you can have a place to park the ship when not in use. The platform is DRM free, so you can make a core BP of it after spawning to make more of them. • If you want to convert the Beltalowda into a regular hauler, just remove the DSAT and replace it with 6 L containers, for a total of up to 14 L containers(2.7ML). It handles well, flies true, stops on a dime, and carries a crazy amount. Easily carries 1.5Kt off of Alioth and I almost got 2Kt with the 10 Maneuver Atmo engines and 4 Maneuver Space Engines. Reentry with 2.5Kt is a breeze with plenty of braking power. Plenty of interior space and access to almost all of the elements from inside. Cargo is 4 Container L's with 716Kl of storage. Shiny, reliable, efficient.....it's still my favorite ship to use! Warp capable and only 30cells Alioth to Madis with empty cargo. The Mining Elevator V2.0 allows for the vertical digging of mine shafts. This aids in the mining and access to ores and getting back out of the ground. For the most part, Episodes 7-9 were terrible, BUT the places where some us could still find refuge was in the ships, sets, sounds, and heck even I found a FEW moments outside the plot were enjoyable. One in particular was in the beginning of episode 7 where we see this shuttle arrive and Kylo descends the ramp in classic SW badass fashion. Like that ramp everything pretty much went downhill from there.... But despite that I found great potential in this chassis and here it is for your enjoyment - My own take on the Upsilon Shuttle with a fully-flushed interior. This configuration makes a great planet courier: balance between offense/defense, agility, speed, and hauling capacity.
