The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. The Bodach is a Small Core Ship, the little brother of the Dagda by Golden Oak Industries. It sports a moderate amount of storage and is built for space travel. Easily able to lift about 750t with no skills from Atmos on a 1G World, more if you have better piloting skills. Cargo on BP is 249.6kL (Tier 3) but can always be updated for a bit more with skills. The ship comes with Space Radar and a Small Advanced Shield Generator.

The Tortuga is a budget-focused S core hauler, new from Captains Customs in retail release! It is capable of safely carrying and landing 2.1kt on a 1g planet. Designed by Sync, HOTK is selling this very efficient Warp Shuttle. It has two versions one with 1 space engine and one with 2. Unless you have excellent skills, I highly recommend going with the 2 Space Engines version. The other version cost 5.4M Skills applied are my personal skills which are level three and below across the board, I recommend having a buffer on hand to improve the handling.
