THE MONOLITH During ground works for our base, we have unearthened a strange artifact of possible alien orign. None of our instruments was able to penetrate this object or to get any data. You can see it first-hand, when VRing to "Tropico". We decided, to make this artifact available to you all, in hope that your technologies can retrieve the deep secrets it bears within. INSTRUCTIONS The dispenseris on location, as part of the excavation site. There are two blueprints - one for the monolith (MON) and one for the excavation site (SIT). At your own location, find an area that is as flat as possible. If there are small elevations, the center of SIT should be at the lowest area. Sink it into the ground, but make sure that somewhere a little bit of the upper wall remains above ground. Look how it is done at our location. After it has been placed, use your digging tool (2) to create a small tunnel downwards, along a wall. Each wall contains 5 sections, one above each other. Stop the tunnel when you have reached the lowest of those 5 sections. Now use tool 5 to create a flat floor inside the four walls. Then remove the soil that is still above your head inside the walls, avoid removing soil outside the walls. Use now the Smooth Voxel tool along the walls to raise the floor unevenly along the wals, especially at the four corners. Do some landscaping to make the floor a bit uneven. Important: you must not see any of the steel honeycombs. Do not yet create the small "hill" in the center. Now place the MON slightly above the floor. Now create the small "hill" below it to hide the core. Finally, do some additional work on the surrounding area, to make it looking perfect. When you're done, post "My god, it's full of stars" in the general ingame chat! :-D HURRY, THERE ARE ONLY 10 BLUEPRINTS!

The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

McBain Rocket Shop Showroom Floor with Attached Factory Version 1.0 This is a multi-large core build, in total there are 4 large cores, one for each pedestal, one for the factory and one for the hangar. I wanted a hangar attached to my factory, some place I can work and build XS and S ships with good lighting and manufacture tokens all in the same structure. Near future I will have attached landing pads and voxel library storage area. The showroom area is just about the length and width of a large core large enough to showcase or store several small and extra small ships. The factory is five open floors of space with a floating control center. Currently have installed enough machines to make all parts basic thru advanced and have only used a quarter of available space. There are 2 landing pads and an observation deck with elevators to move about quickly. Pedestals available if needed. putting big L core stations together is fine but when you want to break up the monotony, give this connector module a whirl. Still an L core but a little smaller to add some depth to your modular stations. Features a nice throughfare windowed walkway to transit between cores and also look out over the 10 XS sized landing pads. At daytime a fairly normal looking tower, but at night it seems to be burning. 5,000,000 quanta for a batch of 8 blueprint copies. Dispenser is in the penthouse underneath the landing pad in the top of the tower. Deploying strategy: 1. deploy the base core 2. deploy the North core, then the East, then the South and then the West core 3. deploy the first floor on the base core 4. deploy the second floor on the first floor 5. the second floor bp copy is DRM free so you can mulitply it to make your Lotus tower higher 6. deploy the top floor on the final second floor core NOTE! Possible problems: while connecting the North, East, South and West cores to the base core you may have to remove glass panels from the base (4 in the center) and then place them back when the core is placed.
