[DRAFT] Viper Warp Courier

The Viper Warp Courier was built to warp small cargo loads, carry a couple passengers, get into and out of atmosphere with great flight characteristics, and to operate from stations and moon bases.

Constructed of carbon, carbon fiber and plastic the Viper keeps the weight down while providing a strong platform for the high performance capabilities of the ship. Ample use of ailerons, a minimal frontal cross section, and a single advanced military engine allows the Viper to achieve 1350kmh in atmosphere at only 15% (or less) throttle. Carrying 100t of cargo, the Viper boasts some of the highest turn-times and best high-angle-of-attack performance of any ship in its' class.

This ship was meant to do more than just warp around the system with passenger cargo. Great for market runs, hauling high volume low mass cargo loads, the Viper can be used as your runabout and daily flyer. Could be used for more nefarious activities that require a fast, warp capable light cargo ship but we do not endorse that. Fuel efficiency being a top priority in the design, operating costs have been kept low.

-Designed to perform best with less than 100t of cargo, the Viper can carry over 400t when needed
-Enough braking power for parachute landings in emergencies
-Stressed warp drive, integrated into the hull of the ship
-Single pilot seat with navigator position
-3 passenger seats
-1 advanced military atmospheric L engine
-4 rare military space M engines
-10 advanced military space S engines

The Viper is a high performance courier that punches above its weight class. A ship born from a need for speed and to look good while doing it. While the warp cell costs may be too high to use strictly as a warp shuttle, the power and capability of the Viper sets it apart and makes it fit nicely with anything in your fleet.
