The Raptor Corvette is a 2 gunner ship, designed to have that rugged gunboat feel.
There are 2 XL ammo containers for the 2 gunner seats, 10 L containers for ammo (split into 2 hubs for the gunners) and 1 L container for scrap, honeycomb, warp cells etc.
There is room in the hull for an additional 6 containers for larger more prolonged engagements.
The ship has approx 30,000 m3 of armour (20k Steel, 10k iron) propelled by 9 XL Military engines to help it stay in the fight as long as possible.
The interior is compact but well designed, giving gunners access to their containers quickly and a warp drive is provided for fast deployment.
As standard the ship has 6 Advanced Precison Lasers and 4 Advanced Precision missiles. Its possible to reconfigure the seats for 6 Lasers and 5 missiles, but the missile gunner may have less action (unless you swap out for longer range launchers). We have optimised this ship for maximum fun.
We use a gunner chair for the pilot with a remote, this means you could add a couple of guns for the pilot too! (there is room for 2 more in the front gun pod).
Overall this ship does well in combat and gives the owner options in loadout and expansion.

Not spoken in the brief, we have custom Lua scripts on this ship. Foremost, we have AR damage control. The AR damage control is located above the cockpit's door. Pressing Alt-3 will switch between three modes. All, normal and critical, critical then none, then back to all.
The script will not work in third person, so don't activate it as a gunner or pilot. It is exclusively for engineers or post-battle repair.The second important script onboard is gunner probabilities are sent to the pilot's chair. It should scale to most resolutions. IMPORTANT! If you add or change out weapons, ensure slots and the number of slots used is the same, otherwise you may lose script functionality.
On the two primary gunner chairs, you can operate your weapons from third person.The last script of note is the periscope view. Activating the programming board in front of the gunner chairs has that. Using alt-1 will zoom in, and alt-2 will zoom out. If it does not work, reactivate the programming board.
