Ekko Nano

The Ekko Nano is a thoughtfully designed and thoroughly tested low cost speeder designed with early gameplay in mind. The basic starter version has minimal parts, most of them you will have when you start the game, and the others available on the market immediately. All of the honeycomb material is also low cost, being available in each market as part of the honeycomb kit players can purchase a single time. The goal in building this ship was to have a very low cost speeder that will get you into space with no talents trained. It has been tested and proven to do this. Not only is the Ekko Nano low cost and easy to build, the voxelwork is simple and beautiful. Because even an inexpensive ship should look great! During the extensive testing of this ship, it became obvious that it's a fun ship to fly. Therefore, a range of models have been produced including the basic starter model, a pocket starter model, an Advanced version with tier 3 engines, a fuel efficient Maneuver edition, and an all-Rare "Titanium Edition" for later game use. And it's so much fun to fly. Each purchase includes a voxel color kit. This ship can be reskinned with any honeycomb you like for thousands of possible looks. All levels of this blueprint are the same price, and if you wish to purchase multiple blueprints, there is a significant discount.

Zephyr

The culmination of my "practice" throughout beta. This ship packs more into it's tight frame than should be possible, with a level of detail that pictures don't do justice, come put your face right up against it. I detailed every inch of this ship, using every trick I've learned along the way and some new ones you may not have seen yet. It falls into the category of a true "Multi-Role" ship. 2x L Containers can carry plenty of mission packages, ore, goods, ammo and can be upgraded later to improve performance. A Medium Shield Generator gives it much stronger defense than it's size and purpose implies. Pack in an XL Space engine, 2x Medium Rocket Booster + Tanks as well as a Warp Drive. 'Hardpoints' for up to 8 weapons with 2 Seats and matching ammo boxes give you a wide range of PvP possibilities. As it stands 9/26/22 Pre-Release... The Exterior is complete. I have two versions blueprinted. One has all the PvP stuff removed and Basic Elements. Both have partially complete interiors I plan to finish after launch, you can see part of it on the steam page. View Finder is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition. Since it is meant to be a starter speeder I tried to keep it simple and the only element I really added was glass. It functions as a speeder and I like that it kind of says finish me. I could easily see people adding a back section and more engines to make it the ship they want rather than the speeder I made.

The Ugly Swan is a medium ship and probably the largest ship I will make in Dual Universe working by myself. This is based on how long it took me to source all the parts (purchased and manufactured). I am please with how it performs as it does function as I intended however, this ship is a great example, of trying to put too much on any one ship and left me with a very small number of choices for arranging the times to fit properly. The functions this ship fulfils are: Warp capable carrier, capable of carrying one small ship on the landing pad and two xs ships in the landing bays on the sides. Though the xs bays do not fit a full size xs ship. Territory scanner ship. Three territory scanners one on each corner. One DSAT for homing in on Asteroids. People transporter with a viewing area (Glass seating area) with a view of space / planet. 1G Atmospheric fight capable Space flight capable. Storage for resources though my really intention was to leave it in space while you shuttle back and forward in one of the docked ships. So the storage capacity is really meant to be on the docked ships. I designed it to carry the Elemental with a full load and carry the xs ships along with the filing its own cargo hold (four times the Elemental's capacity). I have not stress tested this ship, due to time constraints, but I can confirm it can carry the Elemental with cargo in and out of the atmosphere (At least 3.5Kt of cargo). Max speed is speed in space, the max atmospheric speed without burning up is 1000Km/h. The atmo thrust and space thrust values are forward thrust only (I do have thrust in other directions). Also it has four rocket engines because who does not like rocket engines.

Silver Bee

Silver Bee is the ship I made to run around in PVP space (its the ship I can loose) its not really finished as it needs some balancing however, we are at the end of Beta and I'll probably make an xs ship variant instead of finishing this ship off. Despite not being finished it is quite a fast ship able to exceed 40,000Kmph in space, in the atmosphere it can reach speeds of up to 1050 Kmph without burning up in the atmosphere (Angle dependant). This is also the second revision of the ship as it started out looking more like a normal plane before I decided to make it look more like a Bee, though my voxel skills are not really up to the task.

HYPERION

In the closing weeks of DU’s beta phase, I spent many days producing this industrial warp hauler for us all to enjoy post launch. Using a source image found online, I carefully created the Hyperion in stunning detail. The key was to remain faithful to the concept art and achieve a performance that would rival any ship in its size class. The appearance of this full size S core might deceive you, but rest assured, the handling and capability of the ship will not disappoint. Utilizing 5x Basic Container L the Hyperion can comfortably handle 1KT worth of cargo to and from a 1G planet. This is not the hard limit as with good flight talents and a seasoned pilot, the ship is capable of more than double the recommended weight. The Hyperion PRO comes equipped with 8 Advanced Military Atmospheric Engines and 6 Advanced Safe Space Engines instead of Basics. This is the only difference between the versions. The Hyperion is intended as a warp capable hauler for moving large amounts of cargo efficiently. A shield is included in the blueprint, however, it is not recommended for use in the PVP zone as it has no weapons by default. All engines can be swapped out to increase performance but you can find the recommended engine loadout on the Hyperion PRO (rated for 2KT). Please note that exceeding the recommended weight of the ship may cause brakes and wings to underperform. The inertia matrix has been fine tuned to negate as many unwanted rotational forces as possible, even under extreme load. Once again, I have installed the open source LUA for container content information and element status (coded by Krengus of ASTCo). For the flight script, I opted to use Albatros HUD (by CodeInfused) as it provides a clean, customizable interface that is effective at displaying all the information you need as you focus on flying. Last but not least, a special thanks to everyone who supported my work and helped me achieve everything I have in the last 2 years. If I made a list of names then it would be longer than this description and I’m sure I’d miss a name or two unintentionally. Hadron Endurance Born of necessity, the Endurance is the ultimate utility ship for any player looking for a ‘one size fits all’ work horse. Built with modularity as its primary focus, the ship tailors to your needs on the fly. Hot swap the elements you need for the task at hand. The Endurance has a home for every element you could possibly need no matter the scenario and comes with Albatross HUD on the primary flight controller. Markers around the ship assist with the placement of upto 3x Territory Scanners, an Asteroid Scanner, multiple large containers and a Warp Drive, depending on your needs at the time. Every element can be upgraded to a higher grade version for increased performance. The wings and fuel tanks can be swapped to larger versions of those elements depending on how much fuel or lift you need. Made using only T1 Voxels throughout.
