I cant get the chair to fly strait up at all now. If I spin the chair with Alt-3 it will climb, but not hover. If I level out, Alt-1, it will slowly sink to the ground. its acting like it does not have enough vtol thrust

Love this little thing! I still use post Demeter update for efficient 7-10 tile scanning. also for setting those pesky hard to reach core placements.
Bug Work around. Activate, Deactivate remote controller a few times she'll go up just fine.

I reported this bug to NQ and got now answer.
It seems to be related to the same bug that make any ship sometime slam on the ground.

I only had this thing for a few weeks before the patch that changed mining, but it was worth the cost. However now I have extream dificulty taking off. does not wont to leave watever surface I land it on. once manage to get it air born it seems to work fine. any know what the problem is

Contacted leniver on discord and he replied shorty after, came to my location spawned the chair and checked it to make sure it was working properly, offered tips and all kinds of usefull info. Great guy would buy from him again. used it for a couple min and can already tell this will be a great addition to my mining ops, and soon astreriod ops.

The new version is slightly bigger, but works very well in the tunnels.

@MadSlapper: By default xs Core take less damage and also the fall damage are related to the cross section of your ship. As the wheelchair is so tiny, it is really hard to destroy it.

For some reason it would not let me edit my post so I will add further comments here.
I have to ask if this mining wheelchair is indestructible or just anti MadSlappers clumsiness?
I have dropped it 100's of metres down vertical shafts, hard landed it at speed, the game has crashed a few times and I have ended up landing upside down or on its side, I even ran it in to the side of my mining ship once and damaged the mining ship but did not even scratch the paintwork on the wheelchair.

I bought this thing yesterday. After 1 day I am very happy that I did.
There are pros and cons to it (more pros though)
Pros: It makes scanning so much easier. Leniver uses obviously an adapted and improved version of the EZscanner script. The assisted triangulation together with the movement capabilietes is super. You can easily adapt the position of the overlay via LUA parameters to your resolution. The triangulation result is super exact. Alone this outweights the cons, imho.
Cons: Not pocketable, you need a bigger ship to bring it around. Well you need that anyway for the ore you might find :-)
Be sure to bring enough fuel in your container, you will need to fuel up in a lenthy session. Take 4000l of atmo fuel with you, at least.

Leniver is super nice, he delivers the chair right to your front door and stands by to answer your (ie my) noob questions.

As a compulsive hole digger I decided to buy one of these. Fast service. The triangulation lua is great, Easy to fly in the various axis (mind you I am used to flying these devices as I have 3 by different makers already).

Bought one a couple weeks ago. It's pretty all-purpose. I love that it can dig straight down. Also this thing is durable. I dropped it down a 700 meter hole and it took almost no damage. I recommend it if you do a lot of mining.

I made some bank moving a particular ore from Madis to Alioth and the first thing I spent it on was this awesome tool that I saw in a RobRantz video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv8WmDfctBY&t=483s). Thank you Leniver. This is a very usefull tool. I hope there will be a better docking mechanism later on in game so we could dock this easier to a main ship. I try landing gears but was not successful. They maybe even block while mining. Not sure. Maybe the game comes up with something later. Top rated!!

So I've bought this twice. First time was within weeks of playing DU and I had zero talents in Mining. Now, 4 months later, I have mostly max talents and it's a breeze to fly and certainly makes mining Mega's easier and faster. No more jumping around trying to get around. If you don't have mining talents though, you will struggle to use it.

I took a break and when I came back I asked for an update of my chair.

I am very impressed with the improvements on the chair. I have upgraded from version 2.2 to version 3.9 and the amount of new features and the quality of them is incredible.

And on top of that, between the time I asked for the update and the delivery of the new version I had to wait 15 minutes.

Hello. I'm going to buy this. And seeing the @Gre comments, i just want to say something. This is the bauty of this game. Free will, liberty. Theres no "patent" to registry. If i create a thing exactally equal another, theres no problem. Is not subtracting nothing from the first one. Each one manange to sell and works your own creation.

And listen.. this is not has everyone would be forced to made "open source" scripts... no one is obligated to show his scripts.. but nothing stops me from create one script that made the exactally same thing. This is how real life should work. Patents and dispute over these kind of 'NO SCARCE' things is just waste of energy and limitant of tecnology distribution.

About the 2 points on the code:
1) Juvenious code is here from the beginning, it's not hidden. It's in the description you have his video. It's not stealing because it's open source and I have talk to him.

2) About the other similar product, there is a ton of warp shuttle, a ton of mining hauler, this is just an other kind of tool.
It doesn't really matter who was the first or not and both code are very different. There is multiple autopilote script, multiple factory handling script, multiple triangulation script, ect...
So to answer to you, I do not steal scripts. There is no point to steal when you can code them.

I bought this chair and I noticed I mined faster before getting it, let me explain why : 1) You need to fuel it many often 2) You cannot compact it so you have to dig to the surface when you finished mining. 3) It's a XS ship and rotations are very slow when you're looking for your ores. 4) You have to dock it everytimes on another ship 5) The triangulation script into is an opened source LUA file available on github and made by Juvenius, try both and you won't see any differences. You can compact a XS core with a keyboard and paste it, easy to get. Finally and after all I wrote here, I can say this chair is a real trap, funny at the beginning but at the end very boring and inefficient.

Have had this for a week now. As everyone else has mentioned, the customer service is great and delivery was within minutes to my base on Madis. This device/ship is amazing! IMHO, it is an engineering masterpiece. It is very simple to use, very stable and I still can't believe how well it handles in tight spaces. With the time it saves, it pays for itself on the first super node and it takes a lot of the grind out of mining. Well done!

For miners that use different screen resolution than 1920x1080, the last version allow you to configure triangulation to your specific resolution.

This little monster is amazing, he can lift 20Kt from alioth with no AGG, Warp to Lacobus for less than One cell, and of course she can destroy all the BOO fleet in one shoot...this ship is amazing...

But this little thing is still amazing ! Easy to fly it change completely the way you see the mining of mega node in the game ! At least I win about 1 hour on a 2M node with the efficiency of this ! Thanks to Leniver for the delivery on Madis and the using explication. Very happy

This makes mining so much better. quicker down the hole, quicker back up. It's stable. Controls are easy to use, and it only took me a little bit to figure it out. Very stable when mining, versus having to hop around. Is small enough to dock to the wing of my hauler. Awesome job, and will probably buy a 2nd for org partner! Maybe a third for my other ship!

Loving this machine so far. I find the controls a little clunky at first and still wish there was a setting to change left and right spin to mouse control vs keyboard as this is the biggest thing to get used to. I am looking in one direction mining and go to hit "W" and I run into a wall.
i am loving this and might try to set up another craft to "Follow me" with a small container when going for those really deep ores.
