I didn’t think I needed one of these. I was right. I needed two. This is an indispensable tool for anyone with a base. Highly recommended.

When I first saw this for sale for 7M for a BP, I was like, "This guy's crazy. Not going to sell for that much." But then I learned a bit more about it. Then I bought one and tested all the features. IT'S INDISPENSABLE. You probably need one of these.

In the same way the mining wheelchair (see this creator's Metalla Currus) revolutionizes mining, the Caterpillar AWP revolutionizes building. The advanced piloting script basically turns it into a magic carpet. Are you building a megastructure, such as a space elevator/AGG dock? This will be helpful. You can even park it in midair. If the ECU is active it will just sit there and hover. You can then enter build mode, do your thing, and it will hover until it runs out of fuel(about 45 minutes for the version I bought). Or stand on a static, maneuver tool the AWP, and it will deactivate the ECU and freeze the AWP in place.

This is just all the neat things I discovered in 10 minutes of dicking around. I'm sure there's more.

You'll probably run out of fuel before running out of new ways to use this little bit of kit. If you have a platform it's a must, if you use AGG it's a must, if you're a builder it's a must, even if just for the screenshots.
This thing is all about the software, it's extremely well done and intuitive and once you get into the menus way more than just up-down-left-right-side-to-side.
