The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

The Terrans are at it again. With the Terran Offworld mining OP, (OmO), you will get a plattform with a custom LUA script. Were you will know how mutch money your tiles cost you a week/12 weeks by adding the quanta they cost. So that means that you have controll on the tile cost out in the cosmos. There are room for 7 L MU´s AND a small manufactering capability, like fuels och convert the ore directly to pures and so on. And the best part is that there are 8 L containers for the ore your gathering, and 1 L container for fuel storage and 2 L containers for other storage. With this large amount of L containers you will not need to travel that often to empty out the ore.

You can adjust the number of containers you need by yourself. Just add or remove some. A complete fuel industry 'in-house' is present in the station. All containers and fuel are accessible through a Container Hub in the operating room downstairs. Don't worry, you don't have to walk. Elevators bring you up and down. At the bottom of the space station you find 4 small landing pads to accommodate a drop off point for your small planet surface haulers. This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.

Comes with automated guiding lights luring you straight to the middle and in case of a power outage also has nice contrasting guide arrows and markers. The pad is build on four extra large hovers so no need to work with messy pillars or other anchors to keep it down. The pad was made from a modular kit I designed, so if you do not like the outline, I am sure we can come up with something that will work for you. (except VERY rude shapes). 12 Large (static) core runway 2x6. full built with skirt runway is all at the top of the cores so can make skirt taller if desired to put stuff under it.
