This is a special ship, developed to give a lift to up to 10 passengers or crashed pilots in need. What makes this ship so special is its ability to manage over-crowded market platforms as this is what it was designed for: while it cannot protect you from market-caused disconnects and error messages, it however can easily navigate on these platforms as no obstacle is high enough to cause any problem: Unbelievably, it can hover up to one hundred and two = 102 meters (!!!!!!!) above any PLATFORM or CONSTRUCT! Yes, 102 meters were the measured maximum! Otherwise around 30 meters. We measured on the Alioth Market 6 platform which itself is 222 meters above sea level. Please refer to the screenshots. We also made sure it can reach a nice little speed, its possible maximum speed was never measured as we had to limit acceleration to 2,250 km/h (that we now call SMS = Safe Maximum Speed) to avoid damage to elements (one of the front adjustors) that we observed starting to happen at 2,256 km/h. When we shut off all engines at maximum altitude (around 4,600 m) at SMS, this ship is so airworthy it took over 20 minutes to gently glide down and land. As this ship was designed for passengers, it provides a great view thanks to large window areas and special enheightened seats positioning. You will see. And finally, we gave a very unusual yet pleasant shape to this high-speed taxi, partially inspired by those air buses seen on Coruscant, center of the Galactic Republic, in Star Wars. SIDE NOTE We had a big smile when we found out that our ship can give a few minutes of sub orbital experiences to passengers, just like Virgin Galactic's "VSS Unity" (Richard Branson) or Blue Origin's "New Shepard"" (Jeff Bezos). To do that, simply put all engines to full power, and aim upwards in "Ground Object!" mode or "Flying Object" mode. This will get you out of the atmosphere. But of course, gravity will eventually get you back and you then can do it again. So you see, you can now finally become a serious competitor to Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos! After many months of working on it, I'm proud to present the STAR SHAPER MK 1.0. Before starting the description of the ship, all the statistics given on the page are done with the cargo capacity fulfilled @80% to not over states the presentation and to give a proper vision of the ship with cargo on it. And those stats are provided with LVL 5 talents for ship. SO once builded you need to upgrade the talents on it to 5. This ship is dedicated to mission / asteroid mining as it integrate a DSAT inside giving you the opportunity to fly from an asteroid to another one with a 4 L Containers capacity as main hub + 2 S Containers as secondary Hub for warp cells. The Star Shaper is perfectly balanced to provide the best flying experience to their users. Their is obviously an interior design with multiple rooms dedicated to game aspect apart a meeting room which is their for the roleplay. The Star Shaper is equipped with an anti gravity engine and a dock on the below part of the ship that can give access to a small pocket ship. With this setup you can stop on altitude where you want to go and just take your pocket ship to go down on surface staying in distance from your linked containers, which gives you the opportunity to go to market doing business without landing. The DSAT is accessible / can be monitored from the cockpit and is perfectly integrated into the ship to provide the best design / look & feel. The anti gravity engine is also monitored via the cockpit with a screen & a script that allow to setup the anti gravity altitude / set status of the AntiGrav (Active / Offline) The ship is equipped with the standard scripts: - Ship info - Archeo orbital HUD - Warp map - Anti gravity monitoring The Star Shaper as been tested multiple times / adjusted to reach the perfect balanced announced further. It can go to space from Allioth with 4KT cargo weight without any problems which is approx the max capacity of the cargo space with a mix of different T1 Ores. This easy to use go-to 1kt hauler is an improvement on previous versions. This is the most effective small scale hauler I could make, basically 2 large rare military atmo engine housings with foils. The Nomad R1 is probably one of the most powerful haulers you can buy. It's the luxury version of the Nomad A1. Both have been designed and built with efficiency, superior flight behaviour and a clean, simplistic design in mind. If you enjoy being a freighter, run missions, or simply have a lot of stuff to move, you will enjoy this powerful ship which will not let you down. It's an L-core hauler with excellent stats. Having a torque of 542 to 662 MN.m this ship turns faster and smoother than you would expect from an L-core. It's well balanced layout makes it a joy to fly. An insane break force of 1326 MN allows you to savely operate within the atmosphere, and while the ship of course comes with an AGG, most of us simply land it on a runway as if it was an S-core. The substantial low altitude lift of 621 MN making it possible to bring 30.000t of cargo from Alioth into space, and the ship's slim frontal cross section defies it's huge cargo bay of 10 advanced optimised XXL containers holding up to 12979 kL. Warp drive, reverse engines for clean maneuvering, and over 200 airfoils complete this ship. A dry weight of only 4.3kt tell you that the interior has been reduced to the minimum in order to optimize the flight stats. High quality elements like the rare military atmospheric engines, rare military space engines XL, rare phased-array space radar, and rare capacitor shield generator give you a lot of bang for your buck, and an intelligent placement and linking of all fuel tanks make servicing the Nomad quick and easy. And, if you are not planning to go to space, you will exactly know which tanks you can leave empty, while the tank logic follows a simple balancing method so you will not constantly fly around with much more fuel than you really need. A huge glass cockpit ensures perfect vision, and the clean outline of the ship make parking the Nomad very easy. The R1 comes with ArchHUD by default, but can be ordered with Albatross HUD likewise. The Damage Report script optionally can be casted to two transparent screens in the cockpit, giving you full control of the situation at any time. Little Jumper is xs core warper, designed to get around easily with very low warp cell count, it takes only 7 cells to get from alioth to thades (no cargo). I literally built this in just couple of hours, so not much time went into voxelwork or anything else, it's just functional build. I hauled 500t of cargo from thades moon 1 to Thades and didn't have issues, however Thades has lower gravity, so don't do that on higher gravity planets! It has 1xM optimized container, which is enough for quick runs. you can go grab some T2 ores from surface of other planets and moons and easily make back the money spent on warp cells. enjoy the cute little build ^^
