Designed by AtmoCorp, a subsidiary of Infinity Corporation. The AtmoCorp T2 Outpost is the next step up from your Starter outpost. Designed to be deployed on any terrain, the T2 Outpost comes with a personal landing pad, two floors of living space, and an outdoor terrace and jacuzzi. With a Container Hub and up to ten large containers pre-installed, with T5 talents included it has a storage capacity of 1920kl. *NEW updated version includes four Basic Mining Units and a rack to hold them. If you don't plan on mining, it can be deleted. The Outpost is built on the top half of a Medium Core. It can be placed with the lower door at ground level, with half the core below the ground to allow for an underground factory. Or the core can be raised up as high as you want, and the lower door and support structure can be copy and pasted to extend it to the ground. The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

Designed for diversity of production over outright capacity, the Omnifactory is the ultimate flexible manufacturing hub - whilst still allowing significant expansion of capacity if desired. It also incorporated DIAs custom written all-in-one LUA script for Industry, Storage and Schematics monitoring, viewable on a single screen and with touch control to switch between functions and scroll screen pages. This configuration uses 'double transfer storage' - each machine has its own primary input and output storage containers, with transfer units linking to secondary storage containers to accommodate for the onward link numbers required. Additional transfer units then feed to the primary storage of the next machines in the manufacturing sequence. Expanding the capacity of this factory is as simple as placing the new industry machine, linking the primary input and output containers and setting the machine to run the component desired, the 'racking' configuration allowing this to be accomplished with minimal effort. When thinking about purchasing and deploying this Omnifactory, do bare in mind this is a pricy investment - using over 1800 transfer units alone and requiring 7.2Mlitres of storage to deploy! It CANNOT be deployed with any particular elements deselected, as this would break the transfer system.
