The Grindylow, by Stormsteel, is a super efficient light hauler. With no piloting skills, this ship can get 500 tons off of Alioth. The Grindylow is extremely fuel efficient, and can run the Aileron Parts mission at least 10 times on a single fuel fill. The handling in atmo is top notch and the ship is capable of gliding on its wings with little to no thrust even with weight on board. The Grindylow comes with Albatross HUD installed on the seat, and Damage Report hooked up to the two screens on the bridge. Most elements of the ship are repairable from the inside. The Grindylow includes a Resurrection Node towards the back of the ship. Stormsteel Guarantee: All Stormsteel ships come with max boosts to all piloting elements. I've built a market runner/small hauler, that looks like a container. :P It's 150% the size of an Expanded Basic Container XXL, so it's nearly as long as a full S core. It will take 1.5 kT without problems, and if you have decent piloting talents, its should also handle 2 kT. I've personally taken 2.25 kT of cargo into space without difficulty, with level 5 buffs and level 4 piloting talents. See stats on the last picture. The ship originally conceived by a former player of DU the "Whale Shark" is all space cargo power. The interior is left bare to allow for a personal touch to its owner. The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably travel from the planet surface to a space station at the push of a button. Step on the Belovator, select the target floor, wait, dock - be there! Belovator XXS V: The "V" (as in Velocity) is our fastest player transporter yet. A lvl4 pilot can travel from the surface of alioth to 1su height in less than 2.5 minutes and also back down! It has the same tiny frame as our regular XXS, but even with one more S-engine for up and two S-engines instead of XS for down, the "V" is lighter. This is possible by allmost exclusively using carbon fiber and freight engines. If the variables "maxSpeedSpace" and "maxSpeedAtmo" are set to zero, a skilled pilot will reach max speeds of around 14,000km/h while travelling to 1su and back with over 7g thrust. - No container / player transport only - Advanced freight- and military-engines In the pictures you can see it compared to the regular XXS. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. So ever wanted a super balanced nice on fuel and good looking hauler! Here is my answer for the medium class of hauler the Alterran by ADMI! clocking in at 1.7ktons with fuel full and lvl 5 talents for flight (working on Hp) she can pickup in the area of 2.8ktons no flight talents and basic setup to 7ktons with better engines and good talents for flight! (unless nq fixes the gravity-inverted containers lol then more). A new feature is on this ship from ADMI and that is balanced load blocks. There are 3 containers you can find them in the front that are 1 small basic and 2 xs basic containers. Fill these with iron and you should never need to move anything but these containers to balance the Alterran. I used pure iron and put 12kl in the small and 1500L in front xs and 750 in back xs to give myself different weights to balance with. if you should ever overload her and need a balancing hand so your not waisting the ships power instead of moving engines or warp or messing up a build just move a container! 1-4 clicks usually balances any load. (note if you stay in the 3kton range and load the balance containers then youll never need to move anything the ship is balnced for loaded and empty!
