Now on version 3 that includes all the VPT work that wasn't around when I first made it. The Spindler was my second ship that I made and my first to see space. Many moons later I've completely redesigned it with better, prettier voxel work, upgraded engines and really better stats all the way around. While my first space faring ship worked, this one will help you make that transition to space so much easier and with much better style than I had. Atmospheric hauler/courier. Great starter ship for missions, or hauling ore. Cheap/Easy to build. All honeycomb materials used can be made using nanocrafter. With zero pilot skills I have had this ship will take a full load of ore. (Around 100t). Fast with great manoeuvrability even while loaded. Can be upgraded for space flight. Triton is a S core ship, designed for Alien Warfare (pve mission) easy difficulty. 6x Rare Precision Cannon S: you will need handling talents to link all of them (you can contact me on discord and i'll do it for free) 3x Ammo Container S: hold enough to chain 4-5 missions. There is also a S container to store extra scraps / fuel / ammo. Fully fueled ship and all ammo filled will sit roughly at 150tons Advanced Safe Engines L & M and Advanced Military Engines XS can be replaced with basics if low budget. Safe ones allow for shorter warmup which comes in handy for the rare times you actually have to move. Military XS are used as directional engines. This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height).
