The Hemera is an all in one home cruiser, with all the luxury and living space you need for long deep space missions and 14 Large cargo containers for hauling large loads. Some small extra crew containers are positioned in crew quarters and can be configured individually. Various picture screens and boards are located around the ship for you to add LUA,scripts and displays as you like, giving a custom feel to the ship. I revised the original Hemera from 2 XL engines to 4. This increases cross section slightly which means you'll need to push through atmo a little harder, but when the XL's take over the transition into space is much easier which compensates for the slight atmo speed loss. It also makes space hauling easier, I found that the 2 XL's were stressed when carrying heavy loads. The focus on this ship was utility. There is room in the forward deck for either a large shield or DSAT and room in the cockpit to add 2 crew seats for either DSAT management (the DSAT is accessible from one of the optional crew seats in the ceiling just outside the bridge) or to add 2 gunner chairs. Space for ammo containers is available in the cockpit. The ship can also be flown from one of the crew seats for solo piloting and DSAT management. Hauling from atmo is good, up to around 5-6kt (I would stay around 4-5kt since they nerfed adjustors) depending on engines and talents and 4 XL engines make space trucking a breeze. A captains quarters and 2 crew quarters are located near the bridge. On the top deck there is a landing pad for a speeder or warp shuttle. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. Tempest Sky Cruiser is stylish, yet simple hauler. it's suppose to have this alien-human hybrid looks. It's designed to carry 7000t of cargo. Engines: 24x L flat hovers 6x L vertical boosters 8x L atmo 4x L space Fuel: 1x L space fuel tank (main engines) 1x L atmo fuel tank (main engines) 1x M space fuel tank (vertical boosters) 3x M atmo fuel tanks (hovers) Containers: 10x L containers and room for 10 more, but might need more stuff on it to be able to carry it (unless you're using AGG) flying it empty is like flying an xs core ship, it's very agile and turns like an eagle. even tho it's designed for about 7000t of cargo (based on talents), it can probably lift about 10000t if you have level 4-5 talents in certain things, in fact i think only low altitude lift is problem and this is beacuse of hovers and vertical boosters, so if you put few more on or have high level talents, then it should easily lift 10kt. remember that you only have to get to 1km height, then you can use anti-gravity generator, it's slow, but it can lift any weight.
