The Wyvern Replica is an Homage to it‘s original. It‘s my most favourit ship in DU and was love on the first sight back in the day, so I rebuild it myself to learn how the nice voxelwork was done. The BusinessJet 2.0 is a semi-compactable Hybrid ship for fast travel of up to 3 peopole. It can cruise at 3500 kmph @ 3750m, making it good to get you where you want fast.. It was built to provide the fastest travel that only requires autopilot to be engaged. At the approach to the destination you may want to alt-5 to decrease altitude without the braking that AP likes to do. All the engines are Rare for the quickest acceleration possible. The DBI LASH-1 (Light Atmospheric Scanning Hauler) is an efficient scanning vessel for those players looking to get in to scanning. This Small Core ship comes equipped with a single Basic Container Large and enough power to move it when fully loaded. As an atmospheric ship, the LASH utilizes a very open and minimalistic design aesthetic, reminiscent of construction vehicles once used on Earth. Scan tiles, harvest surface ore to pass the time, and move along to the next scan site. Even if you don't find that T3 ore site, you won't be coming back empty handed! Even if you're not scanning, the single large container allows you to utilize the ship as a handy market runner or flower harvester! Modifying this ship to be space-friendly would be a piece of cake, given the extra room and open design. A few space engines, a few retro-rocket brakes, and you'll be scanning all around Helios in no time. This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. Civil logistic carrier meant to transport several atmospheric ships of differemt sizes between planets, moons, and space stations. Flat, wide, low bottom to make loading and unloading easy. No one likes smelly, stinky pilots. Not even the flies around those. Space for two additional atmospheric engines if so desired. NOTE: Things have changed since the end of BETA. Honeycomb weights differ now. Our advise is, to replace Matte Lithium with Matte (Medium) Gray Plastic, and Glossy Lithium with Matte Dark Gray Plastic.
