The "Not-For-Hire" (some know this name from a great SciFi novel) is a great companion for small- and mid-scale mining operations, and for hauling if you got a lot to move but not as much that a huge, fuel-consuming super hauler would make sense. The colors of the ship are snow white and Martian red. Her modern cockpit has style and gives you an amazing view while you fly. Her strong downward and forward illumination makes you see where you land during dark nights. And her extremely good wing lift gets her airborn with as less as 150 km/h. Also excellent gliding capability for mean stingy captains who want to save on fuel. The ship allows access or exit from five of the six sides, allowing ops where speed is key. She has a forward-facing hangar that can carry various speedboats, mini haulers, or armed fighters. Alternatively, the hangar can be used as forward-facing weapon platform. Dedicated storage for hangar vehicles. Dedicated accessories storage and of course the main cargo containers for freight. She is not meant to cruise alone inside PVP zones, but she still has a shield generator. The strong landing lights can be switched on or off, and also all major light sources inside the ship can be switched on or off. And she offers seating and two "onboard cinemas" for up to 18 passengers, and two additional seats inside the cockpit for 2 VIP passengers. Inside the cockpit are also two commando seats for additional crew members. NOTE The original ship has 3 cores: an M core, and two XS cores. But those two XS cores are mainly experimental and have no real design or function value. The version with the waves on the hull is the latest version. This is a tiny VTOL, that makes the needed connection between your anti-grav ship and the surface, if you have items in your inventory. With its small size it can park on top of almost any ship, or finds a small niche inside a ship's hangar bay. Just fly maybe 1,000m or more above the target ship, and then slowly sink down while you position. It can manage Alioth with its 1G of gravity. Other specs: compactable, plenty illumination to see in the dark, excellent wing lift and gliding, lifting at low speed, separate fuel tanks for vertical and horizontal engines to save fuel when no VTOL is required, ability to move backwards to easy parking and navigation on densely occupied market platforms such as the evil Alioth Market 6, or inside small hangar bays.

The Apollo is a highly efficient and versatile cruiser. The narrow cross section (455m2) enables a larger payload because of less atmo drag. Capable of 5kt cargo lift depending on engines installed, talents and pilot skill. Ensure a soft, plane like landing to avoid overloading the vertical boosters if landing heavy. There is a spacious cargo area that can be outfitted to suit the mission. The standard loadout is 7 L containers, 3 more can be added alongside a M shield to fill the hub capacity if required. The interior is spacious and has crew quarters for the captain, a dedicated resurrection chamber and passenger seating. A landing pad is available at the rear of the ship for shuttles or fighter escorts, as the Apollo is an M core, up to S core size can be docked.
