Equipped with Four Extra Large Space Engines, Tumata has excellent space acceleration and handles easily in Atmos as well. Capable of lifting upwards of 2.5Kt of Cargo from Alioth (more on lesser gravity worlds.) All Doors/Hatches and Gates can be controlled at the individual door locations AND from a control panel on the bridge next to the command chair. There is plenty of information display room including 3 Large Transparent Screens in the cockpit plus an additional cluster of smaller screens available to the Pilot with controls for all systems. Rooms include the Bridge, Cargo Bay, Hangar Bay, Engine Room and Ready Room (below the bridge.) There is plenty of room inside for owner customization or additional cargo capacity to allow for extra volume. The Tortuga is a budget-focused S core hauler, new from Captains Customs in retail release! It is capable of safely carrying and landing 2.1kt on a 1g planet. The Tortuga boasts 576kl of storage on a hub via 3 basic container L. Most all components are tier 1, which means the ship is very inexpensive to deploy, or replace if those pesky pirates catch you. Many times the design for a ship doesn't need to be complicated to be effective and efficient! The Broken Arrow utilizes a sleek traditional shape and clever positioning for elements resulting in an impressive performance for the ship size. 5 small containers provide an excellent hauling capacity (space to add 2 more for 7 total) - she'll carry more than double her own weight in cargo with power to spare and low cost parts mean this ship won't break the bank if you happen to ding into anything during your adventures. FAST- because the weight is low this ship will do around 50k depending on skills and cargo. LOW COST- Uses basic engines all around (1L Atmo, 4M Space) keep the maintenance and fuel extremely low. This was my 'day one' ship, and still preferred daily choice. MISSION RUNNER SPECIALIST: This setup makes a fantastic mission runner ship for the 'Aileron Parts 180k' run. (Round Trip in 9 Min) . With a few pilot skills this missile can climb straight to space at 90 deg from standstill... is very lightweight so will stop on the dime or pull out of dives very easily. Use the 'Boom and Zoom' technique to loop down onto the mission turn-in before bouncing back up into space. Also makes a hilariously fun kamikaze ship for obvious reasons as well. *Ship Inspiration: One of those movies you watch about a hundred times as a kid, Broken Arrow (1996). Featured a unique plot where an air force colonel tries to steal a nuclear bomb. *Specifications listed reflect upgrades made AFTER initial ship/skills deployment. ***Release*** With release it is most likely this will be spawned with T1 engines. keep in mind the stats listed below were with T3 engines and average talents. With T1 and basic talents, 200tons cargo should be a good start, with max pilot talents you'll get closer to 500tons. Higher tier engines will then be required for more. ***BETA Version*** The latest evolution of the popular KXS ZETA hauler, now with a warp drive! Cargo capacity: with average piloting talents, 700-800 tons shall be safe (=~ 1 full container L of hematite). It can be pushed up to 1000 tons with maxed talents. Ship has two M container (= 1L) Lots of thoughts and calculations on engineering: adjustors positioning, hub on center of mass, etc. Ship will handle almost the same with or without cargo, with a very stable yaw. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels. The ZETA is powered by two large T3 military atmo and T2 maneuver space engines.
