McBain Rocket Shop Showroom Floor with Attached Factory Version 1.0 This is a multi-large core build, in total there are 4 large cores, one for each pedestal, one for the factory and one for the hangar. I wanted a hangar attached to my factory, some place I can work and build XS and S ships with good lighting and manufacture tokens all in the same structure. Near future I will have attached landing pads and voxel library storage area. The showroom area is just about the length and width of a large core large enough to showcase or store several small and extra small ships. The factory is five open floors of space with a floating control center. Currently have installed enough machines to make all parts basic thru advanced and have only used a quarter of available space. There are 2 landing pads and an observation deck with elevators to move about quickly. Pedestals available if needed. Here it is! The Kombat Extendable Mining Rig, Landing and Launch Pad system. Build with the custom, patented landing deck. This one does not use fussy zero-G technology but relies instead on trusty steel and concrete to keep everything upright. On deployment you can chose your own building material honeycombs (Primary, Contrast, Metal and Lumi). Comes in four flavours with each it's own distinct role: Barrier - (Bp: 0.9M Token: 2.7M) The basic variant is used as a simple but elegant landing platform that allows any M-core or smaller ship to land safely on it. Guided by landing lights and having a nice elevator down to the ground. Corsar* - (Bp: 1.8M Token: 3.6M) This one comes with a hole in the top! But in that hole fits a Medusa Y-Lift capable of lifting around 600tons on Alioth and up to 2Kt on places like Madis without talents. It comes with a nice ramp that allows you to walk up right to the Elevator seat. Kombat - (Bp: 1.8M Token: 3.9M) Ah, the trusty workhorse of the lot. Why not have you landing pad AND do three tile mining all from the same spot? Comes with 3x basic and 1x uncommon mining units but can be extended or swapped out to any configuration. This is a vaguely Asian themed walled palace. The lower hallways of the wall are large enough to accommodate expanded XXL containers. Just push them into the floor a bit. The base is designed to be pushed into uneven terrain, but it would be trivial to add a floor and use it as a large basement. A small core version of my outpost miner this one is the mini! is a small core design that has room for easy 10 large containers in building the bp only has 2 placed and only 1 basic L autominer placed. Has 6 slots total for the autominers in case you wish to add more later uses just 970m of voxels so easy to construct all aluminum so as to be easy to build and quick to place. the skirt around the edge is rather tall to help place it on uneven terrain and still look right. This is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition and while I think it fits the requirements I do not like it as much as the speeder I submitted. I think it is mainly due to the colours as I have not built with Tier 1 ore (Except concrete) for a long time so I only really had the colours provided to work with. It does feature a pad for parking your speeder underneath the structure. My favourite aspect of this design was the stands I setup for the mining units.
