Ikara Industries presents the "Ikara Landing Pad KIT T2 (DRM Free)". The larger version of the Landing Pad KIT T1, with the possibility to integrate containers. This is an easy to build mining station designed with cheap elements. This station have 6 large extractors linked with a large container to receive minerals. This station is build on a S static core for modular purpose. The blueprint can be find inside a dispenser on Alioth : ::pos{0,2,46.6090,96.4753,134.4049} The dispenser is on the rooftop.

This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.

The raised platform and circular arrangement of the mining units allow the bonus ore to spawn in a ring around the construct allowing for ease of access when collecting. This is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition and while I think it fits the requirements I do not like it as much as the speeder I submitted. I think it is mainly due to the colours as I have not built with Tier 1 ore (Except concrete) for a long time so I only really had the colours provided to work with. It does feature a pad for parking your speeder underneath the structure. My favourite aspect of this design was the stands I setup for the mining units.

my little entry for the NQ Build Your Legacy contest, only started last week so not to long on the build but im happy how it turned out which is pretty hard putting detail together with the rules of no more than 700 meters of honeycomb, comes with lobby, office, living room, bedroom, bathroom and storage area for ship parts, ive always built large core buildings but ive enjoyed playing around constructing a building this size with compact rooms that have a true feeling of space for the size of our avatars, i will look forward to doing more on release :)
