The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

This is the 'Expanded' version, the full on entry into the Omnifactory with all industry, transfer and storage elements configured for ease of expansion. This configuration uses 'double transfer storage' - each machine has its own primary input and output storage containers, with transfer units linking to secondary storage containers to accommodate for the onward link numbers required. Additional transfer units then feed to the primary storage of the next machines in the manufacturing sequence. Expanding the capacity of this factory is as simple as placing the new industry machine, linking the primary input and output containers and setting the machine to run the component desired, the 'racking' configuration allowing this to be accomplished with minimal effort. When thinking about purchasing and deploying this Omnifactory, do bare in mind this is a pricy investment - using over 1800 transfer units alone and requiring 7.2Mlitres of storage to deploy! It CANNOT be deployed with any particular elements deselected, as this would break the transfer system. I don't like the huge factory blocks at all, so I took an L Core and gave myself free rein in the dimensions and design of the building. From my point of view, the entire core does not always have to be used. It is important to me that buildings fit in well with their surroundings, be it in the city or in the country. The building is an empty shell! Setting up the factory or your office in the building is entirely up to you. In the process of moving, blueprints are available to Kosmos Exchange. Space, it's got less lag! Sometimes, you just need a big space to set up storage or your own customizable factory layout. The Terrans are at it again. With the Terran Offworld mining OP, (OmO), you will get a plattform with a custom LUA script. Were you will know how mutch money your tiles cost you a week/12 weeks by adding the quanta they cost. So that means that you have controll on the tile cost out in the cosmos. There are room for 7 L MU´s AND a small manufactering capability, like fuels och convert the ore directly to pures and so on. And the best part is that there are 8 L containers for the ore your gathering, and 1 L container for fuel storage and 2 L containers for other storage. With this large amount of L containers you will not need to travel that often to empty out the ore.

my little entry for the NQ Build Your Legacy contest, only started last week so not to long on the build but im happy how it turned out which is pretty hard putting detail together with the rules of no more than 700 meters of honeycomb, comes with lobby, office, living room, bedroom, bathroom and storage area for ship parts, ive always built large core buildings but ive enjoyed playing around constructing a building this size with compact rooms that have a true feeling of space for the size of our avatars, i will look forward to doing more on release :)
