The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

This mining factory is suitable for 8 Mining Units and 2 M Size Container or 1 L Container for Ore Storage. Build on cheap rescources it can be almost hand-crafted in your Nanocrafter. The blueprint do not contain any Mining Units or Containers. Feel free to place yourself. Get your blueprint at the dispenser. If you want to have the honeycomb and elements too, have a look on the second dispenser. You can also write me an message if blueprint is not available at the dispenser

The bottom of the tower can be sunken into the land as far as needed and has ladders for access from the ground. Add a surrogate pad and you can easily VR there to calibrate your off-world tiles. The landing pad on top fits S core ships easily and provides EZ access to all 8 miners and the Hub. Landing activates the screen which shows how much ore is currently available. LUA included. This is a small core starter warp cell factory designed mainly for personal use production of warp cells. All industry is labeled via screens for easy startup. Pre installed with Indy Hud by Codeinfused. Current setup will make 2 warp cells every 50mins with no talents. This can be increased easily by adding more glass furnaces for the warp cells and increasing the output of a few of the electronics machines. You can adjust the number of containers you need by yourself. Just add or remove some. A complete fuel industry 'in-house' is present in the station. All containers and fuel are accessible through a Container Hub in the operating room downstairs. Don't worry, you don't have to walk. Elevators bring you up and down. At the bottom of the space station you find 4 small landing pads to accommodate a drop off point for your small planet surface haulers. Your 'L-core-slow-boot-Freighter' can land on top of the station to pick-up the ore. Wanna have a look at the station?
