The Anisoptera v3 X1 (internal code name: "Fast and Furious") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h. At the edge of the atmosphere, in suborbit, no damage and overheating, and speeds in excess of 5,000 km/h. The version 3 has the following improvements over V2: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now beyond 5,000 km/h suborbit) - slightly increased wing lift capacity - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! This is a basic spaceplane with: 1)Ability to carry 21kL (<100t I guess ) in Atmo, very useful for hauling missions. 2)Low sustention speed and good maneuverability 3)Good space autonomy (an hour at full thrust) 4)Bad atmospheric autonomy(relatively. Full thrust will give you 700 km/h and ~1SU of flight. Can be increased by increasing your height or lowering the speed) 5)Good brakes 6)Maneuver engines for parking (thrust forward and sideways). Those have a separate fuel tank, so if you run out of fuel, just land and pump out of here. Elements: Most of them are basic and can be crafted in your backpack (exceptions are: container hub, M atmo-engine, cockpit, ECU and some decorative materials like luminescent glass) HUD: I'm using Albatross custom HUD for it's simplicity and height managing options (useful for hauling... just hit Alt-3 and you can leave it flying forward at set height). Cons are fuel displays: 50% means that you have run out of fuel for main engines...And only maneuver engines are left. RDMS: didn't touch it at all. The Bp is built with basic and cheap in mind room to expand as u make more money or more items yourself. The Container capacity is with just 1 M container on Bp able to hold 4 so cargo easily expandable. The stats bellow are looked at with a 0 talent pilot with a lvl 4 Atmo pilot 0 Space i was able to lift 1kt cargo to space by bouncing it a few times to build the speed. The Hagboard Pro Sometimes even a "classic" ship needs some more love... Since Alpha i am giving away Hagboard BP's for free or BP creation costs, now finally i make the Hagboard Pro available. It has my personal HUD with all the features i use myself daily when flying around. - Full Auto-level - Altitude Hold - Underwater mode -Home waypoint via hotkey. ( position can be entered in LUA Parameters) I tried keeping my HUD close to default flying config, so if you can fly with default, just hop on and start enjoying. but if you want those extra features, they are just one key combo away. Most needed keys are being explained in the HUD, and there is an inbuilt help screen available via Shift+Alt+1. This brings the Hagboard to the next level. With it's rare military engines it has that extra "punch" when you want it and with it's redone voxelwork is has a slick fast look to it. The underwater mode that automatically activate when getting on underwater ( or using alt+6 ) allows to fly underwater as if you would be in atmosphere. Perfect for that scanning trip on Jago ;-) Even if it has Auto-level on by default, just hold left shift key to disable auto-level whilst holding that key to do those aerobatic tricks when you need it. For the most part, Episodes 7-9 were terrible, BUT the places where some us could still find refuge was in the ships, sets, sounds, and heck even I found a FEW moments outside the plot were enjoyable. One in particular was in the beginning of episode 7 where we see this shuttle arrive and Kylo descends the ramp in classic SW badass fashion. Like that ramp everything pretty much went downhill from there.... But despite that I found great potential in this chassis and here it is for your enjoyment - My own take on the Upsilon Shuttle with a fully-flushed interior. This configuration makes a great planet courier: balance between offense/defense, agility, speed, and hauling capacity.
