So, no more calibration tiles means time to own some proper mining rigs. This should make it easier... Easy install, low cost honeycomb with a custom lua script displaying all the information you could need or want. The LUA script is also available standalone! Construct: As most mining rigs only require four units, the blueprint contains four Large and two Small allowing you to disable the Small units if required. You can also choose to replace these with large units if so required. Please note, if you do use four and remove the two S cores, edit lua parameters and enter in "25" (without quotes) to the "Gaps" field. This is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition and while I think it fits the requirements I do not like it as much as the speeder I submitted. I think it is mainly due to the colours as I have not built with Tier 1 ore (Except concrete) for a long time so I only really had the colours provided to work with. It does feature a pad for parking your speeder underneath the structure. My favourite aspect of this design was the stands I setup for the mining units.

Tired of hanging your ship in between the mining units every few days you visit your gold mine? Why not land in style on this luxury M-core landing pad? The top is flat for easy landing but below the real magic happens. On a lower deck, connected with two smaller cores your mining units will be waiting for you. Easily accessible with two ramps from the flight deck or by teleporter from the ground below. Be in absolute control as you calibrate up to 15 mining units without moving a single step, and before you leave have three Large containers at your fingertips to gather you hard earned ores. If you feel like getting your hands dirty you can use the access hatch to drop down to the bonus ores awaiting pickup. A quick elevator up will take you directly to the the flight deck, onwards to the next stop. If you are really in a hurry, all containers and Mining Units are also in reach from one area on the flight deck. The long and stable legs will make placing these cores a breeze, even on hilly ground. Instructions: Place M-core with the middle edge of the mining platform in the exact middle of three tiles. Then place the Left hand S-core, finally the Right hand S-core. If you mix up the order, it will give a nasty one voxel gap. No returns. Shop station A nice looking round station that is perfect to build a shop in it. Can also serve as a storage place. I highly recommend letting factory run for 24 hours before starting the assembly lines for containers. 24 hour production rate with no talents that is if you set all machines to run. This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.
