This is an easy to build mining station designed with cheap elements. This station have 6 large extractors linked with a large container to receive minerals. Refer to photos on this ad for proper depth. 3) Excavate central pit, use the outer walkway as a guide. Use smaller shovel size near outer walls to avoid disturbing flattened terrain. 4) Excavate interior rooms, again use smaller shovel size to avoid disturbing flattened terrain 5) Excavate storage hangar and surface ore collection room. There is an orange guideline dictating floor height.

This mining platform was designed to mine up to 4 ore types using L mining units. While the mining platform will default to one mining unit per T1 ore, this can easily be changed to mine different ore with upgraded mining units. To expand the number of mining units, just link to the additional units to the mining PB and to one of the containers. To modify the ore type, rename the container element and replace the ore with the new ores full name. Adding/modifying the mining units or containers will require the programing boards to be restarted. This is an early release version of the platform, so some of the items have been reduced or removed due to availability or cost. To further save on deployment cost, you can change the honeycomb type to fit your available ore type.

The plan was to test out how to make a space station about 65KM from the planet. Assuming I'd succeed the idea behind the station was to use it for making fuel and basic scrap without having to land on the planet. So I obviously succeeded at making the space station however, the location was completely wrong for the job. It turns out you need to make the space stations away from where your bases are and stock them with resources you need at those locations. That said it was fun doing it for the first time and the views are super.

12 Large (static) core runway 2x6. full built with skirt runway is all at the top of the cores so can make skirt taller if desired to put stuff under it.
