I am pleased to present you all the first of my release builds, the Danube Class Runabout. In a future update I will be supplying add-on mission S cores with flexible configurations. This base model has 5 L Atmospheric engine slots and 4 L Space engine slots along with 2 supporting M space engines. Multiple hardpoints for weaponry both fore and aft mounting. Can be used with or without rocket engines or L shield without changing the look of the vessel. If requested, a custom registry plaque can be affixed to the fore section. The WSS Merchant Prince Mk.4C A5S4 is a sleek, entry-level courier ship for anyone looking to get started and look good doing it. It sports a fully enclosed flight-deck with extensive electronics, with crew positions for the pilot, a weapons officer, and a mission officer. A six-seat passenger section is well appointed with excellent views, and is secured in flight by a crew-controlled passenger hatch and crew door. Electronics include atmospheric RADAR, 2 space RADARs, ECU, Telemeter, Screen + Programming Board, Emitter and Gyroscope. Additionally, navigation lights, search lights and beauty lights are positioned across the ship, and switch-controlled. The design has been extensively flight tested, and will do full barrel rolls on climb-out with 50T of cargo and six passengers, plus Split-S and full loops above 1500m AGL. The Hemera is an all in one home cruiser, with all the luxury and living space you need for long deep space missions and 14 Large cargo containers for hauling large loads. Some small extra crew containers are positioned in crew quarters and can be configured individually. Various picture screens and boards are located around the ship for you to add LUA,scripts and displays as you like, giving a custom feel to the ship. I revised the original Hemera from 2 XL engines to 4. This increases cross section slightly which means you'll need to push through atmo a little harder, but when the XL's take over the transition into space is much easier which compensates for the slight atmo speed loss. It also makes space hauling easier, I found that the 2 XL's were stressed when carrying heavy loads. The focus on this ship was utility. There is room in the forward deck for either a large shield or DSAT and room in the cockpit to add 2 crew seats for either DSAT management (the DSAT is accessible from one of the optional crew seats in the ceiling just outside the bridge) or to add 2 gunner chairs. Space for ammo containers is available in the cockpit. The ship can also be flown from one of the crew seats for solo piloting and DSAT management. Hauling from atmo is good, up to around 5-6kt (I would stay around 4-5kt since they nerfed adjustors) depending on engines and talents and 4 XL engines make space trucking a breeze. A captains quarters and 2 crew quarters are located near the bridge. On the top deck there is a landing pad for a speeder or warp shuttle. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.
