It has been created to let haulers, miners, and business people bite back at those who target them!   It screams in an ancient, prehistoric, voice “stop hitting me Devon!..,” (Captain Miller has never confirmed who Devon is!).   Born of political necessity when The Guild of Merchants and Haulers threatened to boycott delivery of ore and essential goods until their pilots were adequately protected.   When word of this reached the ears of a conglomerate of Helios's finest leaders, known as the Council of Business And System Traversal Advisors, Regulators, and Directors, they knew they had to act!   The Council quickly ruled out paying to establish a Helios Sector Police Force or restricting arms sales throughout the system – as both were deemed bad for business and potentially expensive! Instead,  the Council awarded a multi-billion Quanta contract to Captain’s Customs for the development of Hauler capable of fighting its own battles! Once he was done counting the suitcases of Quanta, Captain sequestered himself into his design office, stared at an aquarium in the corner for a week, jumped up, and screamed “Shark!”   What emerged from this process was a monstrosity – The Megalodon. With 7XL Expanded Containers and an M AGG, it is a hardcore hauler. LiftOff brings you an evolution of monstrous proportions, the Kong. Bringing the successful design of the Silverback up to an M core size has lead to some impressive features and improvements. Depending on pilot skills the Kong can handle 3kt of cargo off of Alioth. Also equipped with maneuvering thrusters for easy adjustments when landing at space stations. On top of that it has enough seating for 20 people and is warp capable for those group outings. The large top deck can also be used to dock small and extra small ships comfortably. Kong is also available in 3 upgraded models: *Upgraded models will be available at a later date* Kong Blitz - All atmo engines are swapped out for Advanced(Maneuver or Military) and 2 of the space XLs are swapped to Advanced Maneuvers while the other 2 are swapped to Advanced Military. The Mongoose is an M core Rail boat. It has a warp drive to help get around the system, making it a great patrol boat. I've made the BP for the Mongoose very cheap (500k) to help encourage new people into PVP and for training. PVP in DU can be a lot of fun, dont worry about dying, just have fun. NOTE: Replace the Aged Maraging Steel for your armour of choice.

The "Carl Sagan" class of organically shaped ships that provide cargo and VIP personnel logistics. The ship is versatile. It has a cockpit that can be customized, then there is the passenger area that contains in its current configuration seats for up to 12 VIPs, and then there is its cargo bay which can be configured to hold one or more of the following customer-provided elements: - containers - seats - additional engines - warp drive - scanner - radar This ship, in its original configuration, is a LIGHT-built - mostly lithium, some sodium, small amounts of plastic, but also precious woods. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). She uses XS landing gear to allow easy access. Strong lights provide good sight when landing in the dark. She's at home on hovers, in the air, and in space. The ship is sold as token, and the sales are limited to a total of 10 ships only to keep her rare. The price is 9 million, but if the buyer provides all materials and elements, the price will be reduced to 7.5 million - a discount of more than 10% and well above the worth of all used elements and materials. With T1 and basic talents, 200tons cargo should be a good start, with max pilot talents you'll get closer to 500tons. Higher tier engines will then be required for more. ***BETA Version*** The latest evolution of the popular KXS ZETA hauler, now with a warp drive! Cargo capacity: with average piloting talents, 700-800 tons shall be safe (=~ 1 full container L of hematite). It can be pushed up to 1000 tons with maxed talents. Ship has two M container (= 1L) Lots of thoughts and calculations on engineering: adjustors positioning, hub on center of mass, etc. Ship will handle almost the same with or without cargo, with a very stable yaw. For optimization purpose, elements have been selected based on maxed talents. This means ship will get better as your piloting talents go up, and reach full potential at higher levels.
