Wanted something easy on the repairs and building costs, while still providing enough power to be viable in most situations. Result is the ORCA, a light weight ship on a S core. Comes equiped with 9 M containers for storage (so basically half a hub full of L containers), L fuel tanks (M for rockets), warp drive and everything you could need in a ship: VR, res pod, a bunch of scripts and various screen infos. Cargo capacity will vary alot depending on engines tier, handling talents and pilot talents. With all those maxed and using rockets, it should be able to carry up to 2kt out of 1g gravity. More reasonably, with basic engines and low handling / pilot talents, it will start at 300tons. Basic engines will probably cap near 500tons. Keep in mind it was originally designed with T3 engines and average pilot talents / maxed handling. So, for example, with basic engines and talents, it will be able to carry a DSAT out of 1g, but not by very much - if you come back fully loaded you'll most likely just crash. Ship is built on bottom of core with as little elements on top as possible, so you can place a DSAT or 3 scanners. Detailed interior, many hours spent on the voxels (finally used smooth tool!) Mk2 BP currently comes with basic engines and no rockets to make it easier to spawn. A ship designed for BSW lead engineer dogface. The Diamondface is based on his favorite ship from Elite Dangerous: The Diamondback Explorer. Diamondface is a S-core all-rounder with a single L container and fully equipped for space for atmospheric travel. Safe type Space Engines allow for a rapid warm up and acceleration out of atmosphere. It also features a luxurious interior with bedroom, dinette and bathroom, as well as a respawn node. The design also incorporates a warpdrive which can be excluded on your personal build, if you choose. This ship was designed with aesthetics in mind, but dogface has painstakingly ensured the ship flies, turns, rolls, pitches and yaws smoothly with no overlapping axes, with balanced center of mass and abundant atmospheric lift. The Valkyrie RAR represents the newest addition of the Metsys Industrial Systems' fleet of purpose-crafted spacefaring vessels, as well as the continued progression of craftsmanship of this rather quiet manufacturing shipyard. With their goal of creating a reliable all-rounder ship, capable of fulfilling a multitude of roles, yet remaining distinctively generally performant for what ever job the ship may be used, MIS succeeded in creating the Valkyrie "Reliable All-Rounder". Despite the Valkyrie's unique and unorthodox design, this atmosphere-space-hybrid may be pushed to transport up to 3 kilotons of cargo, or 3 times her dry weight. Equipped with a medium advanced shield module by default and suitably unoccupied hull spaces, the ship may be used as an armed blockade runner, intentionally refitted for combat roles or it may simply rely on its shield to escape any confrontation all-together. Naturally the Valkyrie also comes with warp module technology to quickly reach any desired destination of her captain. Additionally the MIS shipyards put a certain focus on interior design of the ship to maximize comfort for long journeys. The crew deck offers space for up to 3 additional crew members, a kitchen, a workstation computer, wardrobes, a medbay and naturally a shower and a bathroom. The captain may enjoy an additional personal bedroom with a viewport out to the stars, aswell as their own personal bathroom. Though not as sleek or sophisticated as her Martian counterparts, the Truman-Class is famed for her sturdiness and reliability, serving as the immovable centre of a UNN Battlegroup through any manner of engagement. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent.
