I've built a market runner/small hauler, that looks like a container. :P It's 150% the size of an Expanded Basic Container XXL, so it's nearly as long as a full S core. It will take 1.5 kT without problems, and if you have decent piloting talents, its should also handle 2 kT. I've personally taken 2.25 kT of cargo into space without difficulty, with level 5 buffs and level 4 piloting talents. See stats on the last picture. Initial UEF combat reports show the P2 has proven itself capable of dominating in encounters with alien advance scouting parties, with over 90% of sorties reporting swift victory and only moderate damage to shields which did not require the use of a single vent cycle!
