Wanted something easy on the repairs and building costs, while still providing enough power to be viable in most situations. Result is the ORCA, a light weight ship on a S core. Comes equiped with 9 M containers for storage (so basically half a hub full of L containers), L fuel tanks (M for rockets), warp drive and everything you could need in a ship: VR, res pod, a bunch of scripts and various screen infos. Cargo capacity will vary alot depending on engines tier, handling talents and pilot talents. With all those maxed and using rockets, it should be able to carry up to 2kt out of 1g gravity. More reasonably, with basic engines and low handling / pilot talents, it will start at 300tons. Basic engines will probably cap near 500tons. Keep in mind it was originally designed with T3 engines and average pilot talents / maxed handling. So, for example, with basic engines and talents, it will be able to carry a DSAT out of 1g, but not by very much - if you come back fully loaded you'll most likely just crash. Ship is built on bottom of core with as little elements on top as possible, so you can place a DSAT or 3 scanners. Detailed interior, many hours spent on the voxels (finally used smooth tool!) Mk2 BP currently comes with basic engines and no rockets to make it easier to spawn. I didn't want static limitations for my next creation: the infamous cantina from Star Wars: Episode 4. I'd make a mobile version, and remembered the various mentions of 'Swoop Racing' from the years of playing games, reading extra lore, etc. After looking over nearly every frame of the cantina ever shown on film, every available blueprint online, former cantinas designed in all popular SW games, and the entire PDF for Lego's step-by-step instructions - I felt prepared to bring the iconic location to life. All in all took about a month of casual playing to build/finalize. You can come enjoy 'Lightwells Mos Eisley Cantina' in VR anytime, (Or pick up a copy of your very own!) it and many other builds at LSA INDUSTRIES have been made for the enjoyment of the DU community, Cheers everyone! *Images show the 'bury test' from beta - one consideration people may want to remember is that the unique advantage of DU's terrain allows for realistic application of sand or whatever over top of the build, especially the dynamic version shown in the test- you can effectively bury the flying version, and hollow out a small entrance for the garage. The first Ship of my upcoming "Prometheus Class" fleet. All covert in Black and Red it is a dark omen of things waiting beyond the horizon. It has got 10 S Containers, Adv. It goes up to 34 000 km/h in Space Stats are boosted between skill lvl´s from 4 - 5 so there is a little more to get out of it. If you buy a copy a boosting Service is included. A ship designed for BSW lead engineer dogface. The Diamondface is based on his favorite ship from Elite Dangerous: The Diamondback Explorer. Diamondface is a S-core all-rounder with a single L container and fully equipped for space for atmospheric travel. Safe type Space Engines allow for a rapid warm up and acceleration out of atmosphere. It also features a luxurious interior with bedroom, dinette and bathroom, as well as a respawn node. The design also incorporates a warpdrive which can be excluded on your personal build, if you choose. This ship was designed with aesthetics in mind, but dogface has painstakingly ensured the ship flies, turns, rolls, pitches and yaws smoothly with no overlapping axes, with balanced center of mass and abundant atmospheric lift. The Reparation is the third part of my VTOL series! It takes off then rotates with gyro to fly forward. It is a 20 Large Container hauler and has the engine power to back it up. It has 3-axis rotation in space and in atmosphere. It comes equipped with AGG and Warp. There is a lot of room in this ship for personalization.
