This easy to use go-to 1kt hauler is an improvement on previous versions. This is the most effective small scale hauler I could make, basically 2 large rare military atmo engine housings with foils. On request I can offer lesser engine versions. Meticulous element placement and trial and error have resulted in a very responsive and reliable hybrid that launches steeply out of 1g hauling 1.2 kilotons with mid-range skills. It is designed around crash safety; overpowered vertical boosters, an emergency control unit and several large and excessive atmo brakes mean you can stop a dead-drop quickly. Pilot enters via an elevator on the back rear to a claustrophobic spot in the right tube's front where fuel tanks are accessible, with the warp drive installed behind. The ship has the ability of uncontrolled soft landing. When having reached sufficient height and minimum speed, the pilot could leave the cockpit and she will glide towards the ground and has a smooth touch-down, provided that there are no obstacles in her way (artificial structures, steep cliffs ). The "Boar VarHC Mk I" is a hybrid S Core Hauler for interplanetary flights. This version does not have any Vertical Booster. The Interior is kept simple, the containers and fuel tanks are all accessible at one place. It can lift ~500t off of Alioth, for unskilled pilots and with Basic Elements. With high skills and Elements it can lift off more than 1.8 kt. Wanted something easy on the repairs and building costs, while still providing enough power to be viable in most situations. Result is the ORCA, a light weight ship on a S core. Comes equiped with 9 M containers for storage (so basically half a hub full of L containers), L fuel tanks (M for rockets), warp drive and everything you could need in a ship: VR, res pod, a bunch of scripts and various screen infos. Cargo capacity will vary alot depending on engines tier, handling talents and pilot talents. With all those maxed and using rockets, it should be able to carry up to 2kt out of 1g gravity. More reasonably, with basic engines and low handling / pilot talents, it will start at 300tons. Basic engines will probably cap near 500tons. Keep in mind it was originally designed with T3 engines and average pilot talents / maxed handling. So, for example, with basic engines and talents, it will be able to carry a DSAT out of 1g, but not by very much - if you come back fully loaded you'll most likely just crash. Ship is built on bottom of core with as little elements on top as possible, so you can place a DSAT or 3 scanners. Detailed interior, many hours spent on the voxels (finally used smooth tool!) Mk2 BP currently comes with basic engines and no rockets to make it easier to spawn. Obviously needs to use the AGG for that much cargo, unsure how many kt it can take from 0-1000m traditionally.
