Designed for diversity of production over outright capacity, the Omnifactory is the ultimate flexible manufacturing hub - whilst still allowing significant expansion of capacity if desired. This is the 'Expanded' version, the full on entry into the Omnifactory with all industry, transfer and storage elements configured for ease of expansion. This configuration uses 'double transfer storage' - each machine has its own primary input and output storage containers, with transfer units linking to secondary storage containers to accommodate for the onward link numbers required. Additional transfer units then feed to the primary storage of the next machines in the manufacturing sequence. Expanding the capacity of this factory is as simple as placing the new industry machine, linking the primary input and output containers and setting the machine to run the component desired, the 'racking' configuration allowing this to be accomplished with minimal effort. When thinking about purchasing and deploying this Omnifactory, do bare in mind this is a pricy investment - using over 1800 transfer units alone and requiring 7.2Mlitres of storage to deploy! It CANNOT be deployed with any particular elements deselected, as this would break the transfer system. At daytime a fairly normal looking tower, but at night it seems to be burning. 5,000,000 quanta for a batch of 8 blueprint copies. Deploying strategy: 1. deploy the base core 2. deploy the North core, then the East, then the South and then the West core 3. deploy the first floor on the base core 4. deploy the second floor on the first floor 5. the second floor bp copy is DRM free so you can mulitply it to make your Lotus tower higher 6. deploy the top floor on the final second floor core NOTE! Possible problems: while connecting the North, East, South and West cores to the base core you may have to remove glass panels from the base (4 in the center) and then place them back when the core is placed. McBain Rocket Shop Showroom Floor with Attached Factory Version 1.0 This is a multi-large core build, in total there are 4 large cores, one for each pedestal, one for the factory and one for the hangar. I wanted a hangar attached to my factory, some place I can work and build XS and S ships with good lighting and manufacture tokens all in the same structure. Near future I will have attached landing pads and voxel library storage area. The showroom area is just about the length and width of a large core large enough to showcase or store several small and extra small ships. The factory is five open floors of space with a floating control center. Currently have installed enough machines to make all parts basic thru advanced and have only used a quarter of available space. There are 2 landing pads and an observation deck with elevators to move about quickly. Pedestals available if needed.
