The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably transport your assets from the planet surface to a space station without having to rely on an annoying AGG tower with an hour-long ascend or fiddly autopilot ships. Load up with cargo, select the target floor, wait, dock - unload! Belovator M: - 5 kilotonnes of cargo lift from the surface of Alioth without any piloting skills/talents - 10x Basic Container L - Uncommon Engines It has less than two thirds the engines of the Belovator X, and being uncommon engines rather than advanced, this Belovator is much cheaper to place. You can easily upgrade this frame yourself and have it grow with your enterprise. The voxelframe is identical to the Belovator X, and all slots for additional containers, tanks and engines are marked or easily identifiable. It comes with the same amount of brakes and adjusters as the Belovator X, so you only need to add thrust, tanks and cargo space. The lifting capability improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl 2+ talents on atmo engines. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out. If you have to deliver some items to a nearby planet, moon or space base but don't want to get into expenses by using a huge hauler for just those few items, the Baby Bull comes in quite handy. The Baby Bull is equipped with 2x Container S and a hub, as well as with an Uncommon Military Atmospheric Engine L that makes it "not too slow" (2,450 km/h) in the atmosphere, too. The Baby Bull has also space engines, 2 sliding doors, and a big amount of lift. The small size of the Baby Bull allows it to fit inside many different types and sizes of ship hangars. Time to head to the market, and pick up some stuff? What will you need for that? A container! I've built a market runner/small hauler, that looks like a container. :P It's 150% the size of an Expanded Basic Container XXL, so it's nearly as long as a full S core. It will take 1.5 kT without problems, and if you have decent piloting talents, its should also handle 2 kT. I've personally taken 2.25 kT of cargo into space without difficulty, with level 5 buffs and level 4 piloting talents. See stats on the last picture.
