Our elevators are tuned to provide lightning fast transportation of goods and personnel, to and from space, with minimal fuel consumption and effort. What sets our products apart from the competition is our elevators use a number of atmospheric and space brakes to slow the craft rather than using engines to do so which burn a lot of fuel. By using brakes, a huge amount of cargo can be brought safely down from space. The Belovator is a lightweight shaftless space elevator that flies along a gravity line to transport your cargo and players into space. You can comfortably transport your assets from the planet surface to a space station without having to rely on an annoying AGG tower with an hour-long ascend or fiddly autopilot ships. Load up with cargo, select the target floor, wait, dock - unload! Belovator Octo: The Octo is our first attempt to break with the rule that an Elevator has to be a shoebox hidden away in a hole underground. It´s octagon shape is a refreshing alternative to the usual square. The carbon fiber materials used for the hull together with the custom landing pad (DRM-free, included in the purchase) make it a nice eyecatcher on your premises. It also features a custom forcefield configuration that has forcefields as ramps when it´s standing on the base pad and the regular flat bridges when it´s docked at the upper floors. - 1000 tonnes of cargo lift from the surface of Alioth without any piloting skills/talents - 4x Basic Container M - Advanced Maneuver, Freight and Military Engines - custom forcefield configuration - comes with static DRM-free S-core landing pad also suitable for S-core ships Stats are for unskilled pilots, cargo lift depends heavily on pilot skills. The lifting capability improves dramatically for a pilot with just lvl 2+ talents on atmo engines. The configuration of the elevator is done via Lua parameters and is limited to a few parameters to keep the complexity simple. ATTENTION: The game mechanics unfortunately do not allow for an octagonal shaft / dock in your spacestation, because it creates a rectangular hitbox around dynamic constructs. A nice and unique ship! Has an offset canopy piloting area and took its inspiration from the star citizen caterpillar. Does anywhere from 400 - 800 tons safely depending on flight talents and is very easy to balance just move the container hub slightly is a con from making an offset ship but totally worth it.
