The Prospector is your perfect jumping off point for asteroid mining operations, cheap to start but with expandable storage capacity and high thrust to weight ratio, even when loaded and/or with early day skills - now offered completely FREE ! Use a static DSAT to find you target asteroid, then quickly burn across the system to grab that all important ore! The original Prospector ship served our early members well in hauling and market running, but offered little upgrade path. The new Prospector gives players multiple options in both ship upgrades and career paths, with space to exchange main storage to a L container and to upgrade your flight options with a warp drive. All stats are given with no placement and day 1 pilot talents - stats will only improve with talent training.

A heavily modified version of the DIS20 designed by Damphouse; The Megingjord has been redesigned to provide more cargo space, more fuel capacity and far greater overall performance. Fitted with 4x Advanced Safe Space Engine XL, and 12x Advanced Atmospheric Maneuver Engine L, The Megingjord is capable of transporting up to 3kt of cargo from any planet. The ship also accommodates a Warp Drive and a DSAT as standard, and with its increased cargo capacity of 1,152,000 litres, this makes it a great ship for soaking up asteroid after asteroid. Unburdened by the useless mass of atmo elements, it has a solid ~7g of space thrust and a max speed of about 39,000kmh, which lets it race to asteroids quickly to beat the competition. It comes with only two M containers inside, but there are eight racks on the exterior to attach extra containers - giving it a storage volume of up to 1.7ML. These racks are also a good place to attach other elements, such as a shield. The DSAT is built into the BP, but it's easy to remove and reinsert at will with an indicator for precise placement. There's also a slot for a warp drive at the tail of the ship, but it's optional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • The Beltalowda comes with a DRM-free BP of a XS space station so that you can have a place to park the ship when not in use. You'll need another atmo-capable ship to haul the ore down to dirt. • For obvious reasons, don't spawn the Beltalowda in atmosphere. First place a XS space platform or two, then spawn the ship. The platform is DRM free, so you can make a core BP of it after spawning to make more of them. • If you want to convert the Beltalowda into a regular hauler, just remove the DSAT and replace it with 6 L containers, for a total of up to 14 L containers(2.7ML). Recommended max cargo mass is 2000t to keep the thrust above 1g. Listed stats are with level 4 technician/piloting talents and basic elements.

The Dragonfly is the result of my first 3 days into Dual Universe. She was designed to lift me off of Haven and to Alioth. Boy, had I known there was rent to be paid, I might have stayed a bit longer. Anyways, the Dragonfly is a reliable and practical ship, biggest I could make her with XS size. She is a hybrid, easily gets you to space and does the Haven-Alioth back and forth trip multiple times before running out of juice. The Dragonfly also comes with a small interior and can be Upped with additional cargo whenever necessary. She is built smart, with maximum maneuverability and ideal weight distribution in mind. And on top of all that, she is pretty. You should be able to build her without the need to purchase anything with an assembly line M and by disassembling the pilot outpost starter base. The Badger is a wonderful small ship. Great for quick trips to the shops but is also fast on long space trips, its quick with a good amount of storage. Designed as a luxury small transport ship with full RP interior. This ship only uses basic parts so is cheap to build and maintain. No warp drive or shield fitted as standard but there is room in the engineering bay for after sales fitting. This is a smaller and more agile version of the medium core "Angry Beaver" All Andromeda Ships come with a free Lvl 5 Boost
