The main pic is in the harshest possible light to show any imperfections so you're not getting a MySpace angle. This is my pride and joy, a lovingly created M core Enterprise-D. An L core will follow based on what I learned. Off the bridge is the lush Captain's Quarters with all the modern amenities for any Captain that needs time alone to ponder breaking the Prime Directive. Off the other side is the main corridor which curves forward to an integrated weapons control centre. This can access the rear sides of the embedded forward saucer lasers and their associated ammo containers. Off the main corridor are the lab, then passing the lounge and lavatory as one loops back around the rear saucer to enter the rear-centrally located Main Engineering where M Shield and Warp Drive are accessible. Passing to the other side of the saucer is a large segmented area that is open for your own customization, currently acting as general crew quarters. She has L Military Engines in her nacelles, a pair of M Military on the neck flaps and two more on the rear belly for a surprising amount of 'full impulse'. The saucer is packed with embedded L Adjustors giving her great agility. She can respond to pirates by using her high space thrust to get the enemy within M Laser range, shields up, open fire, close to S Laser range, make a pass, 180, fire rearward missiles. Hopefully by then they are deterred but if it comes to a slugfest you're not out much quanta as if you can screenshot your loss I'll give you another BP copy for free. If you want to hop around quickly between mining units or dash to the store and back for a few items, without taking your large fuel-sucking ship, look no further! The Viper can take you anywhere planetside while having a non-boxy appearance. Just look at the screen shots and note the fine voxel detailing throughout! The ship is outfitted with: -1 container S to hold misc. odds and ends from the market. -overpowered brakes so you can float down to any destination easily. -rounded non-boxy styling from nose to engines. -and more! I loaded the container with 56t of pure iron, hematite and other ores and this ship has no troubles at all flying this, however, although the hovers lift plenty of weight, it can't lift full iron amounts of weight (I can lift about 50% of the Container S full of iron with the hovers). I took off on a straight, smooth surface with all that iron. Sustentation speed is very low (90kp/h!) to it's easy to putt-putt in the air for perfect aim in landing. I also have a compactable version with no container and a single fuel tank in a different dispenser at the same location. The DIS10 is now over 3 years old and time for an upgrade. Now with new colors and fixed flight elements the DIS10 is now ready for service once more. This has been an amazing ship for me to use for months now and im happy to be sharing it with everyone. Due to the design its not a perfect flyer it does still roll a little when turning but overall its a great ship. Does fly better with a load. The other flight issues from late beta have been fixed. The Tortuga is a budget-focused S core hauler, new from Captains Customs in retail release! It is capable of safely carrying and landing 2.1kt on a 1g planet. The Tortuga boasts 576kl of storage on a hub via 3 basic container L. Most all components are tier 1, which means the ship is very inexpensive to deploy, or replace if those pesky pirates catch you.
