As the Rock Raiders continued their expanse they started finding, stealing, and then revamping UEF designs. One of their hauls was a sub orbital platform. The only maintenance to this system is the occasional purge of oxygen and hydrogen once in a while while there to fuel up Rock Raider ships. This is a vaguely Asian themed walled palace. The lower hallways of the wall are large enough to accommodate expanded XXL containers. Just push them into the floor a bit. The base is designed to be pushed into uneven terrain, but it would be trivial to add a floor and use it as a large basement.
