Overview: The Badger is a multi role dropship, well suited to mining and light haulage. It packs a lot of ability in its relatively small frame. Cargo Lift: The lift generated from the wings is good enough for around 2kt depending on talents and pilot skill. Depending on the engines you chose cargo lift ranges from 1KT up to the maximum of the wings. Containers: There are 2 M and 2 S containers pre-loaded. There is room for a L container in the main hold, placed across the ship behind the hub. The Hub centralises the ships mass and also provides a good indicator of where to place the container. This gives just over 400kL of cargo at max boost. Engines: There are 4 advanced maneuverer engines as standard but these can be easily replaced for more power and cargo handling. The ship can run in a 2, 3 or 4 engine configuration depending what your uses are for the ship and how much weight matters to you. Cockpit: All lights (Forward, rear and beacon) can be controlled from the cockpit. There is a res node and surrogate station onboard. AGG, Large Shields and 20kt hauling from and to Alioth with only basic engines. 2 M space, and 2 L space for reverse thrust to help with braking or reversing. Dont forget all that deck space! Load up with enough supplies to stay in PVP/PVE space for days or fill the deck with containers. The DIS10 is now over 3 years old and time for an upgrade. Now with new colors and fixed flight elements the DIS10 is now ready for service once more. This has been an amazing ship for me to use for months now and im happy to be sharing it with everyone. Due to the design its not a perfect flyer it does still roll a little when turning but overall its a great ship. Does fly better with a load. The other flight issues from late beta have been fixed. The ship will pull 20kt with work to be fair anyone should be able to do 15kt very easy. Using new and advanced heavy laser weapon systems, the standard Truman-Class may excel in most any situation within fleet engagements or solo missions across the system. Though her acceleration under full load of fuel and ammunition may not reach similar performances as other gunships might boast, the fact that her 6 XL engines are uncommon maneuver models mean she will be able to accelerate and re-align her vector fast enough to still be able to get into range of most any opponent. Ship stats: (stats changed from beta to launch!) - 6 advanced heavy laser L, combined to 1 L gunner seat with an optimal range of 0.86su - can be controlled by a single gunner who may also pilot the ship via remote control. If you are a singleplayer, you can be effective with this ship all on your own - fairly balanced inertia matrix greatly reduces involuntary axis drift during maneuvers - around 8g+ of maximum thrust with the base engines (Uncommon Maneuver Space XL) - around 6g+ of brake force - 8771m³ steel frame, reinforced with 1152m³ gold honeycomb, aswell as 3027m³ silver honeycomb and slightly above 1000m³ decorational interior HC (Lumi Glass, Carbon Fiber, Aluminium) - ship has enough space within its hull for customization (additional cargo containers for example) or for future elements (shield modules, energy reactors etc.) - successfully BATTLE-TESTED against a Russian railboat If you like not having to rely on friends being online whenever you look for PvP content, then this single-seater laserboat in the aesthetic design of "The Expanse" UNN ships might be just for you.
