If you need a small, cheap, easy to fly space hauler for runs outside of the safe zone that won't cause you major loss if you get shot down... this is it. The Ugly Armadillo was my own solution to this problem, and now I'm sharing it with you. Lightweight, well balanced, and very easy to fly. Do yourself a favor, stay out of the pipe... this is not a defensive craft... it is meant to be a sacrificial lamb in the event someone wanting what you have catches up with you!

The Valkyrie RAR represents the newest addition of the Metsys Industrial Systems' fleet of purpose-crafted spacefaring vessels, as well as the continued progression of craftsmanship of this rather quiet manufacturing shipyard. With their goal of creating a reliable all-rounder ship, capable of fulfilling a multitude of roles, yet remaining distinctively generally performant for what ever job the ship may be used, MIS succeeded in creating the Valkyrie "Reliable All-Rounder". Despite the Valkyrie's unique and unorthodox design, this atmosphere-space-hybrid may be pushed to transport up to 3 kilotons of cargo, or 3 times her dry weight. Equipped with a medium advanced shield module by default and suitably unoccupied hull spaces, the ship may be used as an armed blockade runner, intentionally refitted for combat roles or it may simply rely on its shield to escape any confrontation all-together. Naturally the Valkyrie also comes with warp module technology to quickly reach any desired destination of her captain. Additionally the MIS shipyards put a certain focus on interior design of the ship to maximize comfort for long journeys. The crew deck offers space for up to 3 additional crew members, a kitchen, a workstation computer, wardrobes, a medbay and naturally a shower and a bathroom. The captain may enjoy an additional personal bedroom with a viewport out to the stars, aswell as their own personal bathroom. And for tactical mission briefs, presentations, crew management or route planning the Valkyrie comes stock with a CIC/office room. By seperating interior and exterior hull materials, deployment of color variations of the ship is made possible without necessarily impacting the interior design and color choices. The Cysteria is a ( S ) core PvP brawler created by Firestorm. It was hand crafted before shields were introduced to the game and has room to add a shield. This ship was originally designed from the ground up for fleet vs fleet combat early in DU. If you need a ( S ) core that has survivability, built to weather the storm against larger core targets, and look good doing it... then look to the Cysteria. She is invaluable in the field, providing damage soak, DPS support for your fleet and a great ship for collectors. It may not look pretty, but it get's your stuff done, and with grace you won't expect from this brute. It can haul up and over 2 kilotons of your stuff up to space from Alioth with a bit of a seasoned pilot, all in a neatly packed optimised XL container. It uses 8 large atmos engines to do that, I personally love the advanced maneuver versions but you could get more done with different if you prefer. It has enough brakes to safely land with your stuff but some caution is advised because it is not meant to bob up and down on it's boosters with 600 KL of hematite weighing down in it's belly. For your convenience it is equipped with a warp core, a resurrection node and a VR pod for when you feel a bit bored. Sweet bumper sticker. No toilet. Careful when flying empty, at full thrust it will incinerate itself into a crisp right after the engines warm up (2 seconds). View Finder is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition. Since it is meant to be a starter speeder I tried to keep it simple and the only element I really added was glass. It functions as a speeder and I like that it kind of says finish me. I could easily see people adding a back section and more engines to make it the ship they want rather than the speeder I made.
