Patriot was built around a M shield however you can swap out for a S shield for speed under full combat load at 21G of thrust. Keeping the M shield will keep your max speed at around 16-17g of thrust depending on T4-5 skills. If cannons are not your thing you can do the same with the shield and opt to replace them with any other weapon of your choice. The Equus is a small core starter hauler. With one large container for storage, and large Atmo/Space tanks for range. It uses all basic engines, and small atmo and space radars It should be able to lift 700 tons to orbit
