The Anisoptera v4 X2 (internal code name: "Gliese") is the latest version of this famous dragonfly-alike designer speedboat and completes the evolution towards a fully space-capable speedboat. The original designs called for a fast boat that could fit many different types of ship hangars, thus the resulting concept was that of a very slender ship hull. That in return resulted in a low drag amount and therefore high possible speeds if powered adequatly. Overheating starts at 1,800 km/h, first damage at around 2,300 km/h inside atmosphere. The version 4 has the following improvements over V3: - even higher speed (same atmospheric 2,300 km/h as before but now towards 30,000 km/h in space) - more brake power And the best is: from the outside there is almost no difference! As he clawed his way into the launch of Dual Universe, Resource was heard screaming, "NO SHOEBOXES". Surely a ship could be built that could satisfy the detailed mind of a this ship builder with performance we all want, NO EXPECT without looking like a shoebox. And so as he toiled away in the darkness of Thades shadow at the Crash Industries skunkworks, the Cambria took shape. A T shape to be exact. But how would Resource achieve the high altitude lift he wanted, no required AND avoid a wall of engines? These are the challenges that drive some mad as they rebreathe the same stale air inside their helmets. The space anguish spiraled out of control as the ship went from 2, no 4, no 4.5 containers! Just when some would break down in a pile of mangled voxels, Resource looked up and saw his masterpiece. His first thought? I wonder if I can cram a medium shield in there? ... the answer was yes. The Cambria by WarpForged is a small core (small footprint) hauler that safely lifts two XL mission packages (2.8+ kt in 4L & 1M containers) from Alioth's surface with level 4 pilot talents. This hauler is made for everyone who needs to get stuff done. It's a good looking ship without a bunch of extra elements you're going to have to repair if the inevitable happens. Instead,  the Council awarded a multi-billion Quanta contract to Captain’s Customs for the development of Hauler capable of fighting its own battles! Once he was done counting the suitcases of Quanta, Captain sequestered himself into his design office, stared at an aquarium in the corner for a week, jumped up, and screamed “Shark!”   What emerged from this process was a monstrosity – The Megalodon. With 7XL Expanded Containers and an M AGG, it is a hardcore hauler. The Silver arrow is mid range hauler. Designed to be beginner friendly it can carry a full haul of hematite to space. It's large stabilizers make it an excellent glider. Even when fully loaded with 840tons it is easily able to recover from a dead fall from 3000m with no engines. It features 3 floors and offers room for desired expansions: Warpdrive, shield, extra storage an extra L space fuel tank and more. The core is located between the large stabilizers and other big elements for extra protection.
