Unburdened by the useless mass of atmo elements, it has a solid ~7g of space thrust and a max speed of about 39,000kmh, which lets it race to asteroids quickly to beat the competition. It comes with only two M containers inside, but there are eight racks on the exterior to attach extra containers - giving it a storage volume of up to 1.7ML. These racks are also a good place to attach other elements, such as a shield. The DSAT is built into the BP, but it's easy to remove and reinsert at will with an indicator for precise placement. There's also a slot for a warp drive at the tail of the ship, but it's optional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES: • The Beltalowda comes with a DRM-free BP of a XS space station so that you can have a place to park the ship when not in use. You'll need another atmo-capable ship to haul the ore down to dirt. • For obvious reasons, don't spawn the Beltalowda in atmosphere. First place a XS space platform or two, then spawn the ship. The platform is DRM free, so you can make a core BP of it after spawning to make more of them. • If you want to convert the Beltalowda into a regular hauler, just remove the DSAT and replace it with 6 L containers, for a total of up to 14 L containers(2.7ML). Recommended max cargo mass is 2000t to keep the thrust above 1g. Listed stats are with level 4 technician/piloting talents and basic elements.

It is said that skilled pilots can make the Dune Hauler fly, while newer ones will want to stick closer to the ground. For the Dune Dwellers of Haven this common hauler is a staple in their fleet, and is a common sight on the flatter surfaces of the planet. Atmospheric hauler/courier. Great starter ship for missions, or hauling ore. Cheap/Easy to build. All honeycomb materials used can be made using nanocrafter. With zero pilot skills I have had this ship will take a full load of ore. (Around 100t). Fast with great manoeuvrability even while loaded. Can be upgraded for space flight. To deal in violence.   This moment calls for them to pick up the tools of war, and to prepare for battle. Then it is a time for the Megalodon!   From the abyssal depths of Captain Miller’s mind arises this 120m long armored behemoth. It is an instrument of retribution. It has been created to let haulers, miners, and business people bite back at those who target them!   It screams in an ancient, prehistoric, voice “stop hitting me Devon!..,” (Captain Miller has never confirmed who Devon is!).   Born of political necessity when The Guild of Merchants and Haulers threatened to boycott delivery of ore and essential goods until their pilots were adequately protected.   When word of this reached the ears of a conglomerate of Helios's finest leaders, known as the Council of Business And System Traversal Advisors, Regulators, and Directors, they knew they had to act!   The Council quickly ruled out paying to establish a Helios Sector Police Force or restricting arms sales throughout the system – as both were deemed bad for business and potentially expensive! Instead,  the Council awarded a multi-billion Quanta contract to Captain’s Customs for the development of Hauler capable of fighting its own battles! Once he was done counting the suitcases of Quanta, Captain sequestered himself into his design office, stared at an aquarium in the corner for a week, jumped up, and screamed “Shark!”   What emerged from this process was a monstrosity – The Megalodon. With 7XL Expanded Containers and an M AGG, it is a hardcore hauler.
