The Tumata is the Industrial Flagship of Golden Oak Industries! Inspired by Tūmatauenga - "Tūmatauenga (Tū of the angry face) is the primary god (atua) of war and human activities such as hunting, food cultivation, fishing, and cooking in Māori mythology." Equipped with Four Extra Large Space Engines, Tumata has excellent space acceleration and handles easily in Atmos as well. Capable of lifting upwards of 2.5Kt of Cargo from Alioth (more on lesser gravity worlds.) All Doors/Hatches and Gates can be controlled at the individual door locations AND from a control panel on the bridge next to the command chair. So, this run will be handled a little differently from most others The Exotics are all unique. Only 10 will be made and sold. One per person. When the order form closes, we will randomize the list of Exotic buyers. The first ten buyers will get to choose which ships they want in that order, so the first name on the list gets their pick of any of them whereas the tenth person on the list gets the last remaining exotic edition. Any remaining exotic buyers will be offered first pick on the rare editions, and as long as supplies last, they'll be offered to have the engines/containers upgraded should they choose to pay the exotic ship pricing. There are 14 different Rare editions, 10 of which are unique. The list for rare buyers will also be randomized. The unique rare ships will be one per person. Should you want to buy more than 1 rare edition, you can order more than one of the four "staple" rare edition ships, known as the Ponder Edition, Lightning Edition, Wrath Edition, and Dismember Edition. Stats given for the basic engine version, advanced blueprint also available. I am no artist or shipmaker, this is just the culmination of continuous tinkering to my go-to method of getting around. My goal in this game has always just been to cruise around and explore, so the focus of the tinkering has been getting something that flies as well as possible, and I am pretty pleased with how it came out so I thought I would share. It is good for about 50t off of Alioth on the basic version depending on skills. Burn speed is up around 1850 so is pretty forgiving if you come back in to atmo a little hot. Container hub and engines centered on 0,0 so it stays balanced regardless of load. All medium engines so nice and fuel efficient. All a single honeycomb type so feel free to replace with your voxel of choice. Stats are listed for the "basic" engine version which uses pure carbon as the weight reference. Engines also easy to swap out, coordinates in the pictures, though it seems you need to pull the ailerons off to place the engines and put them back on when you are done. Whether you are brand new and looking to upgrade but not ready for the big large engine haulers, or have been around a while and just looking to try something different on the cheap, feel free to come by and check them out.
