"USS Langley, (CV-1/AV-3)" - The first US Navy Aircraft Carrier 1920-1942 While this is not a replica of that famous ship, it carries that famous name. The ship has been created as a no-nonsense purpose-built work ship. There are no Deco elements (there is room to add them if you desire), there are no fancy board rooms or lighting elements and plants and frilly things. The total element count is 633. The Langley has a large flat carrier deck that is greater than the size of an M core ship, as such it can accommodate the largest M core ships in the game while they have a full load, and that is what it was built for. While this is not a "Hauler" there are 34 Advanced Optimised L Containers below deck, 4 of them for Warp Cell and miscellaneous storage. There is a massive area "On Deck" to place cargo packs or containers and your favorite ships up to a fully loaded M core. The ship has been tested with 16kt of cargo off and on to a 1G planet it is being rated at 16kt, more than that is the Pilots responsibility. There are 30x Advanced Military atmospheric engines to push this to space, and 4x Advanced Military space engines to get it to max space speed. Space Thrusters are included to make navigation at a space station easy. There is space to add 8 more ATMO Engines if you do not use an AGG. Please take some time to compare the STATS to other ships. Every effort has been made to make the ship efficient and easy to manage. ALL elements on the ship that can be boosted, are boosted to level 5 non-PvP boosts. She's pretty. She got curves. She makes you easily fly high. She lets you see what others don't. She gives you a cozy place and she carries your stuff. She's the companion you wanted for all operations that are too small for a fuel-hungry super hauler. The "Not-For-Hire" (some know this name from a great SciFi novel) is a great companion for small- and mid-scale mining operations, and for hauling if you got a lot to move but not as much that a huge, fuel-consuming super hauler would make sense. The colors of the ship are snow white and Martian red. Her modern cockpit has style and gives you an amazing view while you fly. Her strong downward and forward illumination makes you see where you land during dark nights. And her extremely good wing lift gets her airborn with as less as 150 km/h. Also excellent gliding capability for mean stingy captains who want to save on fuel. The ship allows access or exit from five of the six sides, allowing ops where speed is key. She has a forward-facing hangar that can carry various speedboats, mini haulers, or armed fighters. Alternatively, the hangar can be used as forward-facing weapon platform. Dedicated storage for hangar vehicles. Dedicated accessories storage and of course the main cargo containers for freight. She is not meant to cruise alone inside PVP zones, but she still has a shield generator. The strong landing lights can be switched on or off, and also all major light sources inside the ship can be switched on or off. And she offers seating and two "onboard cinemas" for up to 18 passengers, and two additional seats inside the cockpit for 2 VIP passengers. Inside the cockpit are also two commando seats for additional crew members. NOTE The original ship has 3 cores: an M core, and two XS cores. But those two XS cores are mainly experimental and have no real design or function value. The version with the waves on the hull is the latest version. I am pleased with this ship design, which I called Elemental because I designed it to carry ore (elements) back when underground mining was done on planets. I have kept updating it as game updates so it is fully functional to date though the Adjustors need a little tweaking still since there is a small error in placement after one of the updates to item mass. Considering my 'Voxelmancy' is not as good as it could be I am really happy with how this ship looks. The ship is a small Core 1G hauler designed to carry just over 1KT of cargo (about 2.73 KT of weight including its own weight). I have stress tested the landings with about 1.22 KT of cargo but the landings gets a little bit more like a fall towards the atmosphere / space boundary at around this weight. If a lighter materials was used to build the ship then this could probably increase this carry weight a little (the ship is made of solid silver). The ship also has a Rocket engines to give the ship a bit of a kick into space if you slightly overload the cargo capacity or if you choose an angle that is too step to reach space with normal engines. They do have to be used close to the space / atmosphere boundary since the ship has 1 medium Rocket Fuel tank. The ship also features four downward facing atmospheric engines to provide more lift during landing when the ship is excessively overloaded in a 1G environment and coming in for a landing at slow speeds. LUA is required to allow them to be turned off and on to avoid wasting fuel all the time, though I have given these engines their own fuel tanks to avoid stealing fuel from the normal engines. I have engines facing in all directions for space flight with the majority pointing down wards and backwards, the remaining engines really being intended for manoeuvring. The Atmospheric engines point in every direction except pointing downwards since you have gravity to help you out with that direction. The values of Space and atmospheric thrust for this ship are the forward thrust values and not the total thrust values for all directions. I use a small amount of LUA on this ship since making my own interface is on my list of things to do in Dual Universe, currently I only use it for engine controls, to set the desired altitude and extend / retract the landing gear. Max Atmospheric speed is just 20,000 KM/H in space and 1000 KM/H in atmosphere before you start burning up. Lastly it is of made of solid glossy Silver, because when they released element resistances. Silver was the best basic material with resistance to weight ratio, without having to consider making an alloy. To be honest I actually quite like how it looks so I have been built all my ships out of this material.

Civil logistic carrier meant to transport several atmospheric ships of differemt sizes between planets, moons, and space stations. Flat, wide, low bottom to make loading and unloading easy. Cargohold for warp cells, fuel, and other necessarities. The latest version of the Warp Cell Cost script has been installed - it included the mass of docked ships and their cargo/fuel into the cost calculation! Bed, toilet, shower, sink included. No one likes smelly, stinky pilots. Not even the flies around those. Space for two additional atmospheric engines if so desired. NOTE: Things have changed since the end of BETA. Honeycomb weights differ now. Our advise is, to replace Matte Lithium with Matte (Medium) Gray Plastic, and Glossy Lithium with Matte Dark Gray Plastic.
