Light hybrid ship on M core, blueprint comes with 8 atmo L (T3 military) and 2 space XL (T2 maneuver). In atmo, it can carry 2-3kt (depending on handling and pilot talents) out of 1g using conventionnal ways, and much more using AGG (especially if only going to 1000m) Storage is 10 container L on a single hub, with extra room inside for either 3 scanners (and markings for ship positioning when tri-scanning) or DSAT or 10 more container L In space, or using AGG, max weight is virtually whatever you can fit in containers, ie tested up to 8kt (cargo full of hematite): its a bit slow but definitely doable. The Geo Scanner MK1 is an atmospheric tile scanning S sized core that can rapidly scan tiles. This tri-scanner features three territory scanners that are conveniently arranged for quick access from inside the ship, saving the pilot time from jumping in and out of the hull to operate scanners. Can achieve 1500 in ATMO with skills and with out burning elements if traveling in a flat straight line. If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.
