View Finder is my entry for the 'Build Your Legacy' competition. Since it is meant to be a starter speeder I tried to keep it simple and the only element I really added was glass. It functions as a speeder and I like that it kind of says finish me. I could easily see people adding a back section and more engines to make it the ship they want rather than the speeder I made.

Here comes the sun... If you are looking for a reliable hauler and you want to shine like a star at the same time, this treasure is made for you! Novas unique and eye-catching exterior design is going to be a sensation on every ship show. Her luxurious interior design turns every hauling mission into a relaxing and cozy holiday trip. Nova is specialized on hauling heavy loads out of atmosphere. With 10 Uncommon Optimized Container L (8 x L container + 2 x L container cargo extension), she can haul up to 3800 tons out of Alioth atmo (tested, full 3800 t needs some ground speed of min. 800 km/h). The cargo extension can be easily removed / added on demand. For the entire list of elements as well as Novas specification, please see screenshots. The interior design is luxurious, while still offering a wide range of customization possibilities. Different from usual interior ship designs, Nova provides a feeling of freedom due to the spacious structure of the interior and has room for additional interior extension as well. Nova comes with a siwmming pool and an openable sun deck to enjoy the night sky while swimming or to take a sun bath wherever you are. The Hemera is an all in one home cruiser, with all the luxury and living space you need for long deep space missions and 14 Large cargo containers for hauling large loads. Some small extra crew containers are positioned in crew quarters and can be configured individually. Various picture screens and boards are located around the ship for you to add LUA,scripts and displays as you like, giving a custom feel to the ship. I revised the original Hemera from 2 XL engines to 4. This increases cross section slightly which means you'll need to push through atmo a little harder, but when the XL's take over the transition into space is much easier which compensates for the slight atmo speed loss. It also makes space hauling easier, I found that the 2 XL's were stressed when carrying heavy loads. The focus on this ship was utility. There is room in the forward deck for either a large shield or DSAT and room in the cockpit to add 2 crew seats for either DSAT management (the DSAT is accessible from one of the optional crew seats in the ceiling just outside the bridge) or to add 2 gunner chairs. Space for ammo containers is available in the cockpit. The ship can also be flown from one of the crew seats for solo piloting and DSAT management. Hauling from atmo is good, up to around 5-6kt (I would stay around 4-5kt since they nerfed adjustors) depending on engines and talents and 4 XL engines make space trucking a breeze. A captains quarters and 2 crew quarters are located near the bridge. On the top deck there is a landing pad for a speeder or warp shuttle. Need to get somewhere FAST? HOP TO IT! The Hopper Warp shuttle from Golden Oak Industries is a lightweight utility shuttle equipped with Warp Drive and Space Radar. Spartan in design but can seat three. Has a single Small Cargo pod for Warp Cells and a small amount of cargo. Don't have Piloting skills on your avatar? Don't need 'em! The Hopper can get anyone off Alioth with No Skill Training.

If you haven't got valuable cargo to transport, warping is often too expensive to justify. The Bantam is a personal craft for planetary travel, market runs and nanopack-sized purchases, transit between the surface to your space station, or an occasional joyride to a nearby moon. It takes off quickly and accelerates to max speed in seconds. The sleek, low-cross-section profile allows re-entry or cruising in high atmosphere at up to 2000 km/h without damage. Albatross HUD makes piloting a snap. The Basic Version can be built entirely in the nanocrafter, except for the optional square light and atmospheric radar. Both of those components can be obtained from starter outposts, if desired, as can many more such as engines and adjusters. The blueprint has level 5 placement for space, atmo, tanks. Honeycomb colors can be easily changed now, so go crazy! (purple and green not required) Because it weighs less than 10 tons, it can accelerate to 50,000 kph max speed. On a round trip it will use about half of the XS fuel tank with no talents. Plenty of reserve for emergency turn-and-burn braking if necessary! This little ship is a lot of fun to fly and can get you to any place in the solar system at a fraction the cost of UEF ships.
