It will take 1.5 kT without problems, and if you have decent piloting talents, its should also handle 2 kT. The Bp is built with basic and cheap in mind room to expand as u make more money or more items yourself. The Container capacity is with just 1 M container on Bp able to hold 4 so cargo easily expandable.
